It was painful but the pain was that pain you get when you get water up your nose at the pool. It stopped hurting pretty quickly after I was done and I'd do it again if there was a good reason.

I should hear back on results sometime next week. I'm not expecting much, but if I test negative, I'll be able to go back to the gym a little sooner, and if I test positive, I can donate blood once I'm better.

Are Gilead Sciences bribing scientists to show favorable results for Remdesivir and unfavorable results for everything else? Remdesivir is priced at over $3100 for a course of treatment. A course of generic hydroxychloroquine is less than $30.

Why should we have to pay $1.6 billion dollars for 500,000 courses of Remdesivir when their research was funded by tens of millions of dollars in grants from the tax-paying American public and each vial costs 93 cents to manufacture?

There's been around 50,000 (at a minimum) needless deaths from the Rona in the US due to the refusal to prescribe Hydrochloroquine and Zinc as a prophylaxis for the elderly. Every nursing home patient in the country should be immediately put on this regime as well as other high risk groups. We’ve all seen people who act like covid isn’t a big deal, or just don’t care about wearing masks or social distancing. But has anyone else experienced people on the opposite spectrum, the overly paranoid?

I only leave the house once a week for groceries. I don’t go out or socialize. I haven’t seen my boyfriend in almost 4 months. So I went to see him ay his house. Boy howdy. I have a parent who called me and furiously ranted about how stupid and inconsiderate I was. They seriously act like merely stepping outside my house will get me the coof, and I guaranteed have it now. They think they WILL die if they get it (they’re boomer aged and overweight but don’t have any serious chronic illness that would make it worse). None of this ranting is because they’re worried about ME. They literally talk like I’m signing THEIR death warrant by going out and THEY are being put at risk. Now I have to live in the garage for two weeks and and pee in a bucket because I have to be quarantined. It’s almost funny. Same person who cusses out random people for not wearing masks in public. Anyone else know anyone like that?


I got one a month or so ago. Negative, of course. I would also describe it as deep throating my nose. The place I got it had a box of tissues on hand because even adult men tear up from it. But at least it’s quick.

I think it's more of the testing being more widely available than before than the riots. If it is the latter, I'm confused at why it took more than two weeks for the drastic increase then. The riots began back at May 20 range, and this is on July 3. Six weeks for a spike to come up?

I remember before the riots they kept saying there was a "spike" in cases in Georgia and other red states that reopened back in early May, when you could clearly see there was basically no change on Worldometers.

It's true that Gates' hobby ended up with a lot of controversy after some girls in India died after getting the HPV vaccine, but two of the girls died from malaraia, one drowned in a quarry, and two committed suicide by ingesting pesticides.

So the stories about Gates may be a bit exaggerated.

Big thing looked to be they didn't like the use of some logos, saying it may have confused people whether this was a foreign company working with the Indian government versus the Indian government itself. In other words, India trying to distance themselves from the bad publicity.

Bit that stuck out to me was this line since I don't get how saying a vaccine would be free is dastardly: "(vi) Inclusion of the statement in the consent form that 'you will not be charged for your daughter to receive the vaccine' that could be construed as covert inducement. "

Otherwise it's a lot of stuff about "you guys need to follow protocols", but it doesn't seem to say what was done wrong if anything (skimming).
