Trump's speech pointed towards the past to reflect what the present should look like. He also point towards the future of America. Saying we're putting a flag on mars (hopefully with humans and not robots) and saying "the best is yet to come". The only people trying to drag America, and the world, backwards is the regressive left. They want to bring back Jim Crow but point it towards white people.

It's genuinely shocking that CNN has published this on their front page. I had extremely low expectations but this far exceeded them. Also, that person trying to imitate a bitchy buzzfeed writer is a 44 year old reporter named Chris Cilizza who looks every one of his 44 years.
So I check out the other articles and they are full of the same drivel, just in a way that's more professional.

At this point, CNN is a hostile media actor. I have seen more positive coverage of America from Al Jazeera and other newspapers from hostile states than I have seen from CNN on the day that America is supposed to be celebrated.
You can really tell with the MSM they're preying on people that don't actually watch Trumps speeches in full and only watch carefully tailored clips. Especially with NYT's piece on how Trump "[...]delivered a dark and divisive speech" which is super baffling to me since I found his speech to be very uplifting and focusing on uniting the people as "Americans" no matter their background. When you actually sit down to watch his full speeches he's pretty good at just sweeping you in and getting hyped, none of that is carried over in the selected clips the MSM plays from my experience.

Can he actually run? New York has already closed the ballots off to independent candidates in May. He would need to get the signatures to register in other states. If he's running on a write-in, some states require you to register too.

Why does anyone value what Kaepernick thinks? His NFL career was a flash in the pan, and he started pulling his kneeling stunt because he sucked and knew getting cut from the team was only a matter of time.
