EDIT: Went searching through the local subreddit for the story and found a post where someone apparently met the little pup afterwards, thought I'd post the picture here for anyone worried about him. His name is apparently Ace and he seems to be fine physically at least.

I celebrated Independence Day by ordering Chinese food and being grateful to this country for letting furriners in to share their recipes. Then I weeble-wobbled my overstuffed self outside to watch the metric fuckton of fireworks that every other house around me was setting off, saving me the cost of buying them myself and the trouble of being responsible for any fires they start. Someone was also setting off signal flares for some reason, and I witnessed one young man running down a cross street. No idea why, nor do I care since he was alone and looked local.
