He didn't have to pause meme development though. Have one git branch for him to develop and another git branch for the coder to refactor. He probably just didn't know how to use Git.

I'm not sure how much Tinybuild actually did in terms of getting the code into releasable shape. As near as I could tell from Aaron's comments, Tinybuild's contribution before the deal went sour was just porting the scripts from JS to C# and doing a bunch of bulk code cleanup like replacing while loops with for loops.

tbh he also seems uninformed about copyright law. copyright protection automatically extends to Alex's work as much as any other creator and fair use isn't about if you charge money or not.

I'm just saying that something like 50K is way too low for the kind of money he has. That video was using data from 2017, not even 2018. I don't know how to stress that he has A LOT more money than that.

Add to this his failed deal with TinyBuild and other developers, who got that bitch from stolen assets into their hentai, though I'm not sure he got paid for this. Then keep in mind, that people who do stuff for him are called volunteers, because they work for fuck all exposure. Then piece toghether the latter: he asked his viewers if he should buy a Real Doll, he bought a Switch just to have another island in Animal Crossing and his original offer for subreddit was 10 000. He is a NEET who eats garbage and dresses like a bum and lives with his parents, so his expenses are laughable. I'm not saying he is millionare, but he is far from being poor, that's for sure.

The fact he spends his money on anything - emphasizing on how he receives considerable monthly amounts - but on improving his life and game is infuriating.

I decided to join the Love Sick Discord when the trailer first came out to keep tabs on the development and the place has swiftly become inundated with weirdos and children. Users went from around 50 to roughly 1.2k in under 24 hours, and the number of mods went from 0 to 9 in half the time. So... every single rival is gay, trans, disabled or some combination of the three? It seems that when progressives (for lack of a better word) claim to want “representation” they actually want dramatic overrepresentation. So if black people are ~13% of the pop, they should be ~50% of the characters in entertainment. If trannies are ~1% of the pop (I’m guessing it’s even lower) they should be ~10% of the characters. It makes no sense at all.

I commend them for pissing off yandev by finishing the game so quickly, but they do seem pretty lame otherwise.
