Official Physical Health Speculation & Cancer Discussion - hulthy just big

The hospital isn't an issue - there are only a few places it could be, really, since there's nothing where she lives. I'd bet UK Lexington, which is where the cancer center is that she claimed to go. They have a surgical oncology division, and if you were getting surgery, it would likely be at the same place where all the assorted doctors were that you'd have to see for your cancer, and they'd have admitting privileges at that hospital. Doesn't take rocket science to look at the roster of doctors and surgeons.

However, those fuckers who deluged the urologist's office need to sit this one out. I don't give two shits about Big Al, but the staff dealing with actual cancer patients does not need that shit, and I would take it very personally if anyone from those fucking groups started on those people.
And she knows, like we know, someone from those groups would absolutely call or try to track down whether she had surgery on that day and any details they could. They have no shame and live off of attention hating Amber gives them.

Do they still allow people to spectate surgeries?

I just thought of something...
After the hyst the nurses immediately wrap these air pressure cuff things on your legs to prevent blood clots. They connect to your bed. They squeeze gently and release.
But they feel good. Kind of like a massage. Especially once the morphine kicks in and you aren't in as much pain.
There's no way they can get those on her tree trunks.
Her lymphedema laygs will be a separate matter all together.
I'd hate to be working recovery and the surgical suite she's on afterwards.
I still think it's a possibility she will chicken out.

I kinda wouldn't blame her but if I was her I would be doing some optavia liquid diet to lose weight as fast as possible to fit into the MRI machines so the doctors could see what they need to do. seems scary just going in blind with such a risky surgery ( sleep apnea, they need to keep her breathing for 4+ hours, a huge incision that has 50% chance on infection?) but AL knows what works for her.

Are there instances when the surgeon has to stop before betting to the organs? I feel like they might run into problems and abort the plan, sew her up and tell her to lose 100 more lbs. I hope not because that sounds negligent, but are they really aware of how many inches they need to cut through?

I know most of us were baffled when Chinny actually got the surgery even after gaining weight. She may be smaller, but not by much. Canada can't be that different when it comes to surgical procedures.
Yes. If they find that the cancer had spread to distant organs after cutting the patient open, barring a few select cancers, the patient is declared terminal and either sewn back up or given palliative surgery instead of curative. Uterine cancer is not one of those cancers that can still be cured after spreading to distant organs and operating on Amberlynn is dangerous enough, so they'll just see her back up if they find any spreading. All the pain, none of the payoff.

Doesn't it suck that our healthcare has to try and accommodate these fat asses by doing the best they can- and then they turn around and get sued.
By a lardass who got herself that way by keeping the fork in her paw.
Sickening.
They're gonna have their hands full with big Al. Literally. Kentucky is an obese state and all- but there just aren't that many 600lb people out there. Especially one who has never been to a doctor much nor taken care of her health whatsoever.
I feel for that doctor and those nurses.
While I see what you are saying here more at fault is the corn subsidy’s from the govt that cause for a ton of high fructose corn syrup to be produced which changes the hormones so that the body piles on everything it eats as fat. At Disneyland in the 80s I would be the only fat one there, now it’s most people, are population has gotten hugely fatter the last 30 years or so and a big part of it is due to the HFCS and other disgustingly calorie laden processed foods. We argue that the consumer has the control but many are addicted to these foods as children and have a hard time turning that around. Especially in our culture where money trumps everything and we have the ads everywhere targeting kids too and using the best science and psychological tricks to make the food as impossible to resist as possible.
The parents are at fault, I personally raised a very thin and fit child despite being morbidly obese since childhood. I’m the first one to say that the parents are at fault more than the culture for fat kids. . But for those of us raised up into obesity and then getting fatter and fatter yo-yo dieting, it’s hard to turn it around. But we CAN, but it’s extremely difficult and the odds are against us.
So my whole point of responding to this was to point out that the state of Kentucky is equally at fault as the fat people in it.

Sorry for the sperg. I'm a little stoned.

I'm really wondering how Kristine and Becky are going to get Amberlynn home from the hospital after her surgery.

Will they try to fold her up into Becky's car? Gorl can barely get in and out now...(And last summer, couldn't even fit in it once).

They could rent a larger car, but I don't see any of those three: A) having valid driver's licenses to rent a car; B) having valid auto insurance with which to rent a car; C) Being smart enough to think of that.

They could hire a medical transport company do the heavy lifting.

Or maybe there's a simpler solution:

And then how long before they have to load our gorl into a car for a post-surgery check-in appointment?

Delicious comeuppance, poured over like gravy.

The only way she will be ok is if she doesn't turn up for the operation. She has cat scratches that take months to heal.

She has no fucking clue what's about to happen. This is an object lesson about how bad it can be when you constantly bury your head in the sand about things you need to be paying attention to.

Imagine the strictest of hospital food where it’s all liquid and no sodium.

lmao I'd love to see it. Patients on this diet are the WORST even at regular size, hams are worse. Just recently I had a guy on a clear liquid post-surgery diet who when I walked in was going to town on some DQ 🤦‍♀️ I give her 1 liquid meal before she'll have becky smuggle her some stuff in.

I think that it depends of the surgery. She might not want to eat much 2 or 3 days after the surgery especially if she is nauseated from the medications. Of course, this is Amber, and if Kristine brings her orange chicken, well...

Maybe she'll ask them to blend it up for her because "it still counts as a liquid diet that way"
