As far as I can tell, the words 'prejudice' and 'racism' have been used interchangeably by the public at large over the years. You can't just roll up and say "ackshually even though they often are percieved as the same thing, we can't call POCs the r-word because REEEE" because your average joe still knows that expressing prejudice against someone based on their skin color/phenotype is literally what we would call racism in the real world.
