Well this is a fantastic piece of news got permission from the boss to have wine with lunch to celebrate.

I would point out that nick is an idiot, there is no guarantee he'll take a plea bargain. I find clients either cave very quickly or decide the potential sentence is so bad they are as well to fight it.

If there is a trial this will be the reason.

This is the kind of case a prosecutor dreams of.

You may have spent years sending away punks for stupid drug crimes, dumbass robberies, and all kinds of shit. This is Lancaster, so driving drunk in a fucking Amishmobile. Shit like that.

But in any case where you're prosecuting Nick, you get to be a fucking hero. Why would you settle for anything less than getting this shitbag sent away forever?

I'd suggest this merits not only a kiwi court reporter, but also a kiwi courtroom sketch artist. Personally, I would nominate whoever did the Chris-as-casual-pepperspray-cop fanart. That sketch so effectively captured the offputting aura of ground-in filth and grubbiness, it practically smelled like dirty human hair. Virtus tentamine gaudet - depicting Sick Nick in the courtroom seems like it would put those skills to great use!

Guys, this talk about "in 5 to 40 years when he's out we'll hear about how it went" is laughable to me. Nick is two steps away from a heart attack or a blood infection from his mouth. Not to mention, why would anybody WANT him back out for updates and content? People have talked about the idea of him being a registered sex offender, so he'd have to live knowing he had that mark on him. No, guys. If Nick ever got out, he would go right back so what he always did, including denying he did it and saying he was really innocent to any people he had to report it to in his neighborhood. Nick's mental problems will not change any of his delusions, he simply doesn't and will never care about what he did. He does not deserve to come out even as a registered sex offender because he will never truly accept it. All he'd do is update his twitter about "aboot time I'm out of prison, because I was innocent all along! Finally, they did the right thing. Also, I like butts."

Back to the 5 to 40 thing, there's only so much health and dental care can do when you're so deep down the shithole. (no pun intended) Whether he goes away for 5 years or 40, there is a very high chance he'll die anyway due to the neglect on his own health all this time. And that's not even counting the possibilities of how the other inmates will deal with him. I honestly think this is the last we'll hear from and about Sick Nick, save for any future reports and updates on a potential trial, until he actually bites it. I've asked this already, but do those prison records record when an inmate dies?

I take so much pleasure about how much Nick is probably freaking out right now. Think about it.

He has no phone.
He has no internet.
He can't update twitter.
He can't answer his ask.mes.
He can't listen to TMBG.
He can't play his Nintendo DS or Pokemon.

Think about how much these things are torturing him.

We expressed mutual surprise at finding each other here! :p So if the Kiwis wanted to organize some form of care package for her (maybe celebratory, maybe holy shit you made it through that bullshit), I could get it to her if she were uncomfortable giving out her address on a random forum (for obvious reasons). If we know where Amber's at, maybe we could do the same for her? I feel like both of these brave young women deserve it, to be honest.

OFC I'd want the approval of @Ancani a mod before this went past the "random idea I had" stage. So, uh, what do y'all think? Which mod is responsible for fielding this sort of idea?

One thing I'd like to clarify, by the way, is that I am not the Anna he confessed to re: the molestation. That was another girl with the same name (I think her last initial was P, so maybe Anna P. would work as a way of differentiating). Don't remember much about her personally but I think she lives in Britain, and she's very definitely a different person.

Nick DID frequently mention pedophilia and coprophilia, but he never told me personally about the molestation. I was sent the logs, I think, but it was secondhand.

Might have already been cleared up (not awake enough to read the posts I've missed ), but yeah. There were two Annas--me, the one who Nick stalked, and the British girl, to whom Nick admitted to molesting his sister.

I've never kept up with the Sick Nick threads, so I'm not really as invested in this as most of the people in this thread. But then I read that he was arrested for raping and molesting a five-year-old girl and then went back and read about some of the details regarding his stalking of Anna.

I can't wait until this sick fuck rots in prison.
