Not chris related, but this helped me to understand how chris thinks and I thought I'd share.

That does explain Chris' perception of the world around him. At the start Petersen was talking about this woman who designs slaughterhouses first had held with her mom to overcome autism. Barb didn't really do much and saddled Chris off with Bob and regardless of how Bob tried to teach Chris, we ended up with current Chris.

In Chris' case, it's even worse when narcissism and ego is applied.

Interesting, another thing that got me thinking, speaking of Autism Psychology all that deep complex analytical crap, has Chris ever read any books On Autism, Or rather Did his parents ever read any early books On The emerging Understanding Of Autism Spectrum Disorders during the 90s or early 2000s. I know Its unlikely considering how Republican, and severely backwards and 'ableist they were in their views of mental Illnesses and conditions, but they must have once tried to research It through the Internet Or Borrowed a library book once In a while when Chris was acting like an egotistical Little brat or exhibited difficult behaviours as a child or his later teen years. Even though they were pretty apathetic parents and enablers no doubt, dont you think its odd if they never consulted any medical books to try and understand Chris's profoundly childish and bizarre behaviours? If only a few desperate occasions??

Beautifully explains some of Chris's more famous meltdowns, something changed in something he'd grown accustomed too. When he got the boot from the Game Place he couldn't handle the change to his routine when most people would have moved on to another card shop so he ended up running over the owner in a harebrained scheme to sneak back in and got arrested. When SEGA changed Sonics arms his perception of reality changed and instead of reacting to it like a normal person, he went on a months long crusade vandalizing store displays, and escalated a situation to the point of pepper spraying a guy and getting arrested for it. When Mary Lee Walsh told him to stop doing something he'd been doing for a year now his response was to shoot an imaginary anime laser beam at her. Some small change found its way into his reality and he freaked out as a result.

Chris has only skimmed Wikipedia articles on Autism to talk about how special he was and how Asperger's wasn't real Autism.
Chris's parents made no effort to educate themselves on Autism and how it affected their son. Bob was probably too stubborn and in denial, when the school told him they wanted to put Chris in a special school to help him, Bob refused to believe anything was wrong with Chris and letting him face the world head on would straighten him out like back in his day. Barb probably didn't give two shits about raising Chris right, she was too old and Bob was handling the majority of the parenting stuff. At some point both parents stopped caring about raising their son right and were content to let him wander around as he pleased knowing he would never amount to anything and never blaming themselves for how he turned out.

I rewatched part of the Chandler Christmas video yesterday and this occurred to me - Chris asked Santa for a girlfriend but how was he expecting her to show up? Under the tree? Gift-wrapped? In his bed with him when he woke up? In the kitchen making him breakfast when he got out of bed? Sitting with his parents by the tree having a long, in-depth discussion about how much she loves their son and how she'll take care of him after they're gone? Or perhaps more seriously, did he wait all day for her to show up only realizing she wasn't going to materialize when he made the video that night about how Santa didn't bring her?

Maybe he expected a similar event to how Rosechu met Sonichu where Sonichu just turns up at her door lovestruck and they instantly fall in love?

I'm pretty sure like the attraction sign, Borb told Chris: "You're too old to believe in Santa, and your Christmas wish makes you look like a slow-in-the-mind."

Chris, and his views on relationships...

They might have fallen, but their influence still lingers.
Pretty sad actually. Of all the Internet trolls who've wormed their way into Chris's life the ones with the most longest lasting effects were two assholes who stole money from him, made him punch his own mother, and shit on the floor. All because they fed into Chris's delusions and said there was a better world out there for Chris where all he had to do was sit around and do nothing then one day he'd have all his dreams fulfiled. All the fake girlfriends, fans, and cartoon supervillains who dominated his life in the first few years made some attempts to get Chris to fix his life and tried to get him to see reality but he didn't like them pointing out his flaws and telling him to grow-up so he ignored them. The Idea Guys may have bullied the hell out of Chris but they let him pretend he was all that and he embraced them.

Which goes back to my theory; I think Chris likes debasing himself and seems to get off of being humiliated. If the pay off is to stroke his own ego and not conform to normal life than isolating himself during that period was bad, but what else could can Chris do at that point?

It's the only real attention he gets. People just tend to ignore grandpappy drag queens blathering on about the taintberry goblins who stole his blossoming labia.

I don't know if he gets off to being humiliated but he does love the attention. He's probably so socially isolated and starved for companionship he latches on to the few people who pay attention to him and goes along with whatever humiliations they put him through. It's why he puts up with people who demand he do stupid stuff to earn their approval, if our girlfriends or significant others asked us to drink our own cum or take photos of ourselves in diapers to earn their forgiveness, I'd like to think we'd dump them but with Chris he does whatever he can to hold on to the few relationships he knows. Its why even after the Idea Guys treated him like dirt he still clings to their beliefs because they paid attention to him and his imaginary world and made him feel good about himself.
