Can't we have an anarchy area and a staking area at the same time? Like in different areas of the map.

Also if we're going to make Chris's house and stuff this furniture mod is gonna be nice to have.

I doubt anything cool will be made when it's anarchy. Who will want to spend time building something cool just to have retards destroy it while spamming lol in chat? If it was creative, maybe, because then you don't have to spend time gathering resources.

But, for example, who will want to spend the time:
1. Mining stone (with short lived vanilla tools at that),
2. Mining lots of coal
3. Smelting the cobblestone back to stone (with slow vanilla furnaces)
4a. To make stone bricks for a castle, or
4b. To smelt it again to make smooth stone.
5. Then spend the time (even with help from others) building a large structure just so
6. When they log off for the night, some faggots destroy it all.

Even if you want to build from wood, a large structure requires a lot of wood, which means you'll need to mine ore to make a decent hatchet to be able to collect wood in a timely manner. It's all a time sink that I don't know why anyone would do just so someone can some destroy it for no reason.
It'll only happen if they hide away some where far, far from spawn so then no one will see it but the people involved. But the risk of discovery and destruction will always be there. What's the point of that? If you're going to build cool shit on a server, I would imagine you would want others to be able to come see it.

The only people that will have fun on an anarchy server is the people wanting to destroy.

Just add vein miner to skip having to mine out all the ore and chopping down trees.
Maybe add Furnus to speed up smelting.

Cool shit has been built in 2b2t, and stood for a while.
Plugin-filled SMP servers are even worse if you ask me. They're always full of 12 year old russian autists who abuse landclaim, /vote, and lots of other retarded commands into getting full diamond enchanted equipment, build mafia-like factions, and fuck over anyone who plays the vanilla way.

it's not possible to upload CP to minecraft (I think) so it'll be far easier to maintain. no moderation necessary. at worst he'll just get subpoena'd when people start building replicas of federal buildings and placing TNT inside

That's feasible if time-consuming as long as you bitmap an image beforehand.
 
For MAXIMUM AUTISM an FTB Revelations server with land claiming would be amazing. It is so comfy working on goals and reaching milestones on complicated machines and shit in a community environment where you can ask for help and show off your cool stuff.

That being said I'd also be down to fuck around on a mostly vanilla anarchy server as long as I don't have to create a direct link between my minecraft account and this account.
