I think there's a chance he'll kill her. It will be a combination of stress and shitty food. This will trigger another stroke. The murder part will be that he makes sure there is no pulse before he dials 911.

I don't think he is going to murder her as long as she can still function as a paypig. If she gets enough disability, he'll let her linger so he can get a college degree larp as a college student for as long as possible. The moment she is of no use to him, is the moment he will get rid of her. She might be able to walk wheel away if she lets go without a fight and agrees to whatever terms he wants. If not, I've no doubt he'd try a more permanent solution.

Losing hair is very common after a highly stressful situation. It's more likely the thought of dying that caused her to lose hair than any medicine. Also, your body changes during invasive medical interventions and something of it affects the follicles that go to the phase where they're supposed to shed hair, all at the same time. It's not rare.

Bit PSA here, DO NOT ignore your health after a stressful situation, even if you don't feel stressed yourself. Your body still experiences such stress as something very bad and reacts accordingly.
