Jonathan/Jessica Yaniv to be arrested for assaulting Rebel Media journalist

This thread is brutal. I swear people believe they can have a predictive understanding of a nation's legal system because they've seen reruns of Law and Order, and they watch Scared Straight on A&E or something.

So once again:

-He will almost certainly get nothing more than community service, a fine, and probation. Possibly a peace bond. There is a bazillion case references to support this. So fuck off with the conjecture about jail. You can literally google this shit.

-He will not be put in a psych ward. That's is rare in Canada unless he pleads not criminally responsible due to a psychiatric condition. He will not do this because he is not going to face jail time. As for being committed outside of this criminal issue? Not going to happen. Even if he was full on suicidal and threatening people, he wouldn't be put in a psychiatric institute for a protracted period of time. Canada is NOT America.

-For the second time, he will not be facing a trial by jury. Those trials are very rare in Canada and they do not happen for a summary assault charge. Canada is NOT America, so fuck off with the Jury idea. Purge that sperg from your brain. Don't even type it. He will not be going before a jury.

Since we are here: Forget the concept of a big police takedown arrest with lots of oomph. From my read, he was already arrested. Here's how it goes down in Canada. He would be told he is under arrest. He would politely be asked to come with the police. He would politely be explained his rights. He would be fingerprinted and given a notice to appear. He would he be released on his own recognizance and the asked if he needed a taxi home, or would like a bus ticket. That's it. So fucking dull an event that even the cops get bored.

That's it folks. No drama. No big moment for spergy shadenfreud for you.

Now we wait for his first appearance. He can plead guilty, not guilty, or reserve his plea. Basically thats where he asks for more time to find council and consider his options.

There will then be a trial by judge if he pleads not guilty, or if he pleads guilty there will be a sentencing hearing.

That's it. That's fucking all.

Now someone asked if he can be pardoned. No, not really. Canada is not the USA. He could file for a suspension of his criminal records after he's served all conditions of all his sentences (weapons charge and any other charges) but it isn't a pardon. It just means he is removed from the criminal database (though the full record is completely restored if he fucks up again). It takes years to do that..... and yeah, technically he could be pardoned by Royal Perogative... that's where the Queen (who ultimatley is the Crown) declares him pardoned, but that doesn't happen. Not like your US president pardoning people. Again, Canada isn't the USA.

Now quit using this arrest and this thread for your bizarre assed LARPing of your TV crime drama fantasies lol.

Go on, go use Google for 10 minutes to learn just how fucking mundane Canadian law is for criminal summary assault charges..

Peace
Congratulations, you have an Internet Degree in Law for Canuckistan. Do you have anything else to add to the thread except repeating your naysaying?

Make sure you bookmark your posts so you can link them three months from now! Everyone sure will be impressed with how right you are!

I'm surprised he typed out an entire essay when he could've gotten the message across even with only 10% of the content.

Yeah his is a ''summary offence''. But I'll tell you this, the best thing that could happen is for him to be put on the sex offender list. We already know he's just going to get house arrest or probation but being declared a sex offender would nearly permanently alter his life. And that is a good thing.

Could he be sentenced to anger management classes?
That's quite common in the states & risk jail if you don't participate.
I think it's entirely possible. They could include court ordered counseling as part of his sentencing. He needs it, too. Badly. But if the shrinks get him behaving somewhat normally I'm going to have to find another weirdo to follow... I'm hoping he is incurable.

The kicker? In the states they're divided by gender...Where would JY go?
I hope they will let him ID as female...I can only imagine the type of women that get sentenced to anger mgt. & I can already see our boy trying to fit in...talking about tampons....PMS & shit ;)

Picture Large Angry Black women. Teamed with some rather petite Bantam weight Latino ladies with razor sharp claws and enough strength to punch them through a cinder block.

My thought is how do tards avoid consequences? Chris hits a guy with a car no jail. Maces someone no jail. DSP fraud no jail. Yaniv bunch of shit. No jail. Are these people using some kind of tard magic to avoid the consequences of their actions. Or is the system that fucking incompetent?

The victims need to come forward and say they wanna press charges in a lot of those cases. Imagine chris acting like chris. You'd probably just feel bad for him. As for DSP and fraud, it's super hard to prove. All you have to do is show bugged jumping mechanics to a judge and he will rule incompetent. Yaniv is touched by jew magic for one, and 2, a pathetic loser as well. Not like Johnny can actually be threatening.

I do find this amazing the way law enforcement and the cops operate north of the border. You start racking up 2-3 charges and put hands on some one you are going to jail. For at least a while.

I have no Prison/Rape extra legal fantasies, but you start racking up charges and putting hands on people, you need your liberty deprived for an amount of time, because in the end, we are a free society, and that’s the punishment.

100% agree. Johnny boy is a general threat to the public and needs to be locked up/monitored. Kinda wish we had more police brutality for people like Johnny. With all this BLM and ACAB going around, there is ton of hear say about this shit, but it doesn't happen nearly enough.

That JediBlonde has a tweet from Dec 19 2019 saying that JY was threatening her. Yet is defending JY in that reply chain. Somethings afoot, and it smells like fat and pedo.
This has never been explained. smh.

If he gets probation, any anger management or other programs would be imposed and enforced by the probation officer. The judges order would read something like " Placed on probation for a period of 12 monthsI, and follow the directions of probation officer" I've had a couple summary simple assault charges over the years, and this is what happened to me. They leave it to the PO to assess the need for programs, interventions, etc.

I have an actual Juris Doctor in Canada, and @oKTrooner is like 99% correct in that entire post. And given some of the misinformation that seems to be flying around, I think it’s a welcome addition to the quality of information here.

Good for them and you.

Maybe they could've stopped with posting it once instead of half a dozen times and left out all the dick-jiggling they did. Also, no one cares about your or anyone else's credentials. This isn't a criminal justice analysis forum. We laugh at insane people here, and baseless speculation is part of those laughs. If you want to kill our laughs by whinging on about how wrong everyone is and how goddamn Cool and Smart and Right you are, please do everyone a favor and perform a half-gainer into concrete.
