Movies And Shows You Just Can't Quite Remember The Name Of

There was an educational kid show with talking dot, question mark and exclamation mark. Anyone remembers that? I really want to see how cgi of characters aged.

I happen to remember this one show with yellow rabbit puppets, and I think one of them wore a purple shirt. I vaguely remember it being called Don’t Disturb the Neighbors, or something along those lines.

There was a show I watched when I was young (probably making the show from around 1990-2000, but it might be older). The show had lions (I don't think it's Kimba). One episode had the protagonist lion leg get caught in a bear trap and I remember it being pretty unsettling.
Later episodes had a plotline of the animals going in a large convoy, due to some reason.

imdb's "I Need To Know" board used to be the perfect place to ask these type of questions, I got a lot of answers there even when I didn't have much to go on.

One reason why to bemoan the loss of those forums.

I saw a TV series about this kid who's trying to live a normal life except his dad is a vampire, and this kid becomes friends with another kid whose dad is a vampire hunter, it was a UK based show I believe.

(Edit: it's Young Dracula)

Anyone remember the movie about how the military brought toys to life and some show up in some kids room and tried to kill him? I wish I could describe it better but that’s straight up all I remember

does anyone know a crappy 3d animated kids film about 2 deer siblings and the older one is increasingly spiteful of the other one until a tyrannical wolf appears out of nowhere? Saw it on netflix once, watched it, and forgot all details.

I miss the imdb forums so much.

I know, it was such a great, all purpose forum.

Their heyday was already long gone by the time they were shut down, but they were still worthwhile, even years later I have to keep reminding myself that I can't just hop on a movie's imdb board anymore sometimes, it sucks.

a realy stupid animated scifi show with some sort of glob as captain, alot of bad sex jokes, a gay robot i think, realy dated 3dish animation, 10 years old or so.

Its tripping the rift!

I remember my parents renting me some video as a kid. I think it was some show from TLC back in the 90s when they were about learning and not reality shows. I'd love to see it again. Sorry, very vague. I think there was a washing machine involved.

Animals of farthingwood?

Just last year, I went on a scavenger hunt to track down all those shows/movies I watched as a kid, but for the life of me could not remember the names of. Fortunately, I found them all.

Here were some of them:
Fluppy Dogs
Fluppy Dogs was something I remembered seeing as a kid, but I always assumed it was a false memory. I mean color coded magical dogs? It sounded like I conflated Care Bears and Pound Puppies in my mind. Out of curiosity, I decided to look it up to see if such a thing actually existed and it did. Apparently, it was a TV special that was made as a potential pilot for a Disney TV show that didn't get picked up.

The Dragon That Wasn't (Or Was He?)
I distinctly remember watching this movie as a kid, and as I got older, I thought about it and "Yeah, a bear that raises a baby dragon...that's weird, right?". Funny how as kids we just don't question anything, lol. Anyways, this is a Dutch animated film that I saw dubbed into English. Its still really weird.

VideoSmarts
One memory I have from my youth is my older brother getting these videos for Christmas and there was a little play board to go with it and interact with the puppet led training material on screen. I could never remember the right name of it. I kept calling it "TV Teddy" which as it turns out was something else entirely (i.e. A Teddy Ruxpin knockoff with the doll talking during a specialized video). I would describe it to people and nobody knew what I was talking about, and even my brother couldn't recall the name of it.

I looked up preschool teaching shows online and FINALLY stumbled across VideoSmarts, which is the one I remembered my brother having.

Flight With Dragons

This was a movie I remember watching on the Disney channel, of all places. I saw a commercial for it and thought "Dragons, magic...I'm down!" or whatever the 5 year old equivalent of that is. Anyways, I saw the movie, and I remembered liking it, but I never saw it again and ultimately forgot the name of it. I would ask people about it and describe it, and nobody knew what I was talking about.

When I asked about it, people would instantly go "You mean the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon?" and while the movie has a D&D flare, I knew it wasn't that. But alas, nobody could point me in the right direction.

Finally, I remembered one key aspect of the film that gave me the clue I needed: I remembered the voice of the villain being cool, deep, and distinct. So in my knowledge of voice actors, I thought of all the ones that have cool deep voices: Tony Jay, Brock Peters, Keith David, Tony Todd, Leonard Nimoy, Roscoe Lee Browne...I went down the list of their filmographies, but I couldn't find any title that matched what I was looking for. Finally, I checked out Mr. Darth Vader himself, James Earl Jones. And sure enough BOOM! There it was, Flight with Dragons was listed in his voice acting work. I look up clips on Youtube and that was exactly the movie I was thinking of.

I actually enjoyed watching it again too because the animation is done by the same folk that did The Hobbit animated film, a personal favorite of mine, so it looked great and had a classier feel to it.

One night years ago, I randomly found a movie through channel surfing but never bothered to look up the name of it. If I recall the plot, some young woman was complaining about her boy friend's lack of interest/affection and said what I believe was, "We have a tit for tat relationship, my tit for his tat." I think this was the same movie where said bf tries to send flowers only to have the delivery guy sign his name instead because the latter had a secret crush on her and wanted to treat her like she wanted to be.

Was it "Simba the king lion"?
