I legit don't get why it's so hard to understand that there is a hard limit to what you can do with editing voodoo if the element was never taken beyond at best a script. You can only go so far with CGI and rejiggering if you don't have the takes needed for it to be realized.
There's a reason why you still can't fully make Alien3 work as a film, and that fucker had a decade of autism put into making the Assembly cut.
Maybe this is how the ILM and Imagineers feel when Iger or Kennedy or Chapek or whatever delusional suit of the day demands something that cannot be done with the material on hand.
