I'm open to the argument that Chauvin was negligent in failing to act after Floyd died, but is that criminal? I've seen someone fired for that, but it didn't lead to a criminal charge.

Did Chauvin even have reason to believe he was dead though? Criminals when arrested/detain try all sorts of crazy shit to try and either get "unarrested" (aka fake injuries/illness, think think a ride of the hospital means they are free) or to try and lower the cop's guard so they can escape/break free/hurt or kill the cop.

Chauvin couldn‘t have stopped Floyd from dying if he did realize something was wrong and removed his knee. It happened too quickly.

What I don't get is why did they propped up Floyd specifically? Both cases weren't racially motivated but at least that Taylor chick would've been easier to sympathize with.

The video of him saying "I can't breathe" was more viscerally effective. We don't have a video of the Breonna Taylor event, and even if she is easier to sympathize with, the whole thing was more a problem of the risk of no knock warrants than a cop deciding to racially murder people. Maybe they feared too many people would go with the answre of "stop no knock warrants" rather than destroy all cops and society.

Also, for MNews, there was an event over there a few days ago where a cop had to take out a suspect on a bridge who had taken a woman hostage. No one is crying in this situation, probably because the kidnapper was white, and probably this guy, and obviously deserved it. Still, they said there was never a time a cop is justified in shooting someone, so shouldn't they be complaining? If he were black they would be on this like flies on garbage.

Chauvin being cleared of all wrongdoing, I disagree. I believe the story that they've known each other prior to that altercation, and the cop was trying to get some petty revenge with his power as a police officer. Maybe not necessarily because of race, but there was some foul play and bad blood between them. He shouldn't be a cop ever again. A negligence charge would be a good idea. Maybe even third degree.

I agree most no-knock raids are a violation of ones rights (real McVeigh like terrorism [not 'you disagree with me is terrorism'] is something I would argue would be warranted for one), But I still argue that the reason why Taylor didn't take Floyd's in terms of normie support is because Taylor's narrative had elements in it that were flat out lies that was more immediately disprove then Floyd (had to wait for the medical report, and all other evidence).
