Non-american here:
Wear a mask when you go out, stay at home unless absolutely necessary, and respect those who can't for work or other reasons.
I don't know how anyone cannot take this pandemie seriously. There's so many people who have died from it, there's still so many people afflicted by it or having consequences of getting it that where it's still a problem, hospitals are oversaturated, and despite all this, people don't understand that being selfish at this time puts them and their loved ones at risk?
Yes, it's like a common cold. Except the symptoms are stupidly powerful, incredibly transmissible, and devastating to the people afflicted.
I'm incredibly lucky that I can work from home, and I'm doing my part to the local economy by ordering from local restaurants without reserve.
Wearing a mask is not oppression. As long as you don't wear a N95, you'll be breathing fine. And for those activists, why not put your movement's name and color on it? I wouldn't even be mad to see southern assholes wearing a mask with the confederate flag on it, as long as they wear a goddamn fucking mask.
