edit: And one thing I would like to ask about this case, when people say that it is traumatizing for a child to be raised as wrong sex, is that if David had been born as a girl, would it have been alright to force them to perform and play in a way they didn't like? If David actually been a tomboyish Joan, without all this insane doctor experiment bullshit, do people think it would have been completely fine to force her to wear dresses, play with dolls and so on since that's the "right way of rising a girl"?
