dysphoria is necessary to be trans, tbh, otherwise non-dysphoric transness is based almost entirely on constructed gender roles. i can't understand "tucute" concepts of what "gender" is because its so contradictory, unreal, subjective and backed with shockingly volatile emotion. whenever i try to parse their arguments i get a headache.

It's to early to pop the corks yet but I recall watching myspace have the same fall back in the day an this is how the rot started in it's user base statistics, a slow drain then a massive slump.

This is not the entire post (damn mobile), but I love when people on tumblr (which is a USA based site) bitch about the USA and its 'lack of freedoms' while reaping on the country's benefits. Same with those fucking people who go all "THE USA WAS FOUNDED ON BIGOTRY AND GREED".

The USA is pretty fucking awesome, but we're far from perfect. There's plenty of legit criticisms to be made - and the fact that we're allowed to make it and can work towards it is one of the things that makes this country great.

I'm all for pointing out the flaws of the USA. However, the whole "WHY CAN'T WE BE LIKE WESTERN EUROPE/JAPAN/CANADA?" thing doesn't really solve any problems. It's more like a fucking pissing contest on which country is the best, rather than a desire to solve any of the flaws the US has.
