The government never considered the psychological effects from this bullshit.
Or did they... I'll never been fully convinced that the riots weren't a coincidence, both as a result of people being trapped inside their homes for months on end (and therefore primed to go fucking crazy and torch entire cities) and to drum up more cries for lockdowns afterwards from the resulting "spike" in cases since just before the riots started the general public was almost over the fearmongering and ready to go back to full normality.

MLive posted the same story again today, only without an glaring example of how false it is directly below it, though in another display of incompetence the duplicate story from yesterday is listed adjacent.

The only change is the addition of this:
(Note: This analysis involves the numbers for “disease onset,” or when people first experience symptoms, vs. when their case was reported to the state.)

This quote from same article still hilarious:
She noted that COVID-19 transmission is most likely to occur during a face-to-face contact that lasts for 15 minutes or more within six feet and without a mask.

“That wasn’t necessarily happening at the protests,” she said.
These friggin' lowlife lying journalists.

oh yes because everyone was wearing masks and stayed 6 feet apart when peacefully protesting er I mean looting target.

Ngl, that was hilarious

The funny part is that the WalMart associate should, by company policy, have been terminated for that. You call a manager to deal with customers like that, you do not ever lay hands on them. The liability is enormous. Hell, technically their loss prevention can't physically stop people either.

Yup. One of the local boys is a Walmart Loss Prevention guy. He's not allowed to do SHIT, because of three lawsuits a few years ago. He gets a manager and they call the police instead.

First one was a Walmart idiot tackling someone in the parking lot. Well, congrats, Walmart had to pay a $25,000 settlement and the guy's medical fees. Another was a Walmart goon moving a car to block a suspected shoplifter's car. That was a $10,000 settlement and a false imprisonment charge for the Walmart employee. Third was a Walmart idiot refusing to let someone leave until they checked their receipt, Costco style. Costco can do that because they're a membership only shop. Walmart is not.

@UntimelyDhelmise I believe the idea is that covid 19 can reinfect you and cause long term effects so it is better to avoid getting it than to get it now and end up with brain damage or something. Now im not sure if that is true or just the media causing hysteria but I cant find any source disproving it. It all seems pointless to me however if asymtomatic spread is not a big factor since sick people dont usually go out in public. the WHO said that asymptomatic spread is rare but retracted the claim so IDK what the consensus is on that. IMO treating others with paranoia is bad most of the time.

can anyone explain how exactly the increase in testing causes more cases? This article says that the number of cases is accelerating even with testing taken into account which could be because more people are outside. But honestly im not sure if it matters since hospitals should have had enough time to prepare. but people I know say they are being overrun again.

It doesn't cause more cases. It's just that we have a more correct number of cases, whereas the other countries, which are not doing as many tests, have an incorrectly low number of cases.

It also doesn't help that multiple instances of case fraud have been found in the US. Hospitals not reporting negative results, for example, and hospitals reporting any death as a COVID death. As mentioned repeatedly, there seems to be an attempt to fearmonger with this disease for political reasons.

Sam's Club is the same. I worked for them for some time years ago, hell, I even remember that COO they mention when he visited the area my club was in and he was just a VP. Never watched managers flop sweat that hard. I worked in leadership for awhile, and from what I saw of the transfered over Wal-Mart management, I wouldn't be surprised if the morons never told their people they can't do that shit.

Sam's was once the competent side of the business, but back around 2012-2013 they started absorbing a lot of Wal-Mart management and they were almost uniformly, in my experience, dangerously incompetent. Wal-Mart survives on inertia, because a lot of it's leadership is terminally stupid.

Also massively centralized. A Sam's Club's thermostat is controlled from HQ in Bentonville.

where can I read about this? it sounds important to keep in mind

We never had and never will have accurate numbers from China, so the MSM have decided to just ignore it entirely. Same with places like Iran. They love putting up accurate numbers from the West and saying, "See! The US is the worst!" but conveniently elide over the literal horror stories from China about how families feared reporting infection or going to the hospitals for fear of their loved ones disappearing from the system. Or how increased testing will increase the number of cases even if the positivity rate remains the same, putting it all on one big non-normalized graph to cause shock and awe among their cattle-like viewers.

I admittedly don't hate the guy, and don't understand why he gets so much flak. His latest video isn't about Fairly Odd Parents of Powerpuff Girls, but he spittin fax about Coronavirus. You can even see the salt from delusional Cuomosexuals by looking at the dislike ratio. Warning: it's a looong ass video, so I'd recommend listening to it in the background as you do other assorted things like playing video games or cleaning:

That is not a China only thing, I don't think we have accurate numbers from anywhere on the planet. There are enough posts in this thread to make a full other thread purely dedicated to how Tests and Tracking of this thing is completely and utterly inaccurate in about every way you can imagine.

The thing with Mr. Enter is while he's kind of a faggot, 99.99999% of his detractors are such flaming faggots themselves they make him look like the sane one.

I think it's just the nature of the beast. A grown man reviewing children's cartoons is pretty autistic, but harsh critics who passionately disagree with his reviews of children's cartoons are just down right special education. Regardless, though, his non-cartoon videos are actually pretty decent, like his Technocracy series about corruption with PayPal and Twitter. Instead he tends to attract spergs like Quinton or RebelTaxi with his in-depth analyses of Ed, Edd, & Eddy.
