Finished running tests comparing the FPS tracker of the July 2nd and July 16th builds. I didn't really notice any major discrepancies reported between RivaTuner/MSI Afterburner and YanSim's FPS counter, with a difference less than 3 FPS for the vast majority of the time. Could be imagining it, but it felt like the older build reported slightly higher FPS values than my overlays much more often than the newest build while the newest build felt like performance was overall smoother (but still not consistent).

But it's Alex, so naturally he did something.

I think this is another example of the UI being hardcoded for a single display aspect ratio. For some UI elements, vertical displacements are proportional to the screen width, for some to the height, or some mix of the two, which looks like a mess, and it's totally random which element is which. For example, you can see that the bedroom stage and the school stage have totally separate UIs, as the various elements of the HUD are in even so slightly different places, unless you have the exact same display aspect ratio as Alex. I think that on my PC, the clock is cut off, but only in the bedroom? I don't remember, something like that, it was ages since I launched the game.

You're correct, that's exactly what's happening. I tested around five or six different resolutions before trying 720p, where the FPS counter was finally in its proper place.

I have a feeling it's got something to do with partnership why he's so... like this about his discord server. The emotes don't help, and I doubt that they'd even consider him for partner anyways due to the nature of his game, but he's big enough by now to apply, surely. I don't think you can apply if your server has any of the NSFW flagged channels. (Most definitely not if your server's reported for being NSFW and it IS NSFW)

On a side note, I tried to join the YanSim discord the other day and got immediately banned from it. I've never been in it before and it allowed me to click the link to join. Your discord account was posted in this thread which may have got you manually added to the instaban list. There's an awful lot of people chatting in the YanSim discord that are also members of the Lovesick discord and they're not getting banned until they either say something that hurts Alex's ego or do something stupid.

Funny thing is that making a HUD in Unity there's a lock mode so everything stays in place regarless of the resolution, Alex how can you fuck up something so basic considering the fact Unity gives you the setting before creating the build.

There's currently 10.5k people visibly online on the YanSim Discord and around 6.5k on the Lovesick Discord; I'd think at that point even the most dedicated would have second thoughts. Besides, if they were busy doing that then who would be on duty to delete all of the cum chalice images?
