Something I forgot to say last time I repiled to this. My reply to that would be "well he actually puts his money into making better videos & doesn't blow it all on luxuries". As for the second part about Hillary, well at least the lefties seem to be finally waking up to what we've known ever since she started her campaign.

That's not remotely surprising because none of these people know what a Fascist actually is. The underlying logic to claiming everything including and to the right of Bill Burr as Fascist follows that no political system is ideologically fixed and only becomes gradually more "oppressive" and "unequal" the less committed you are to leftism and more willing to make concessions with the right. Eventually, you're going to keep following more and more "unequal", "reactionary" and "counter-revolutionary" lines of thinking until you arrive at Fascism. Thus, the only way to stop Fascism is to eliminate even the most casual of thinking that could remotely lead you towards Fascism.

Of course, it call also be that they don't actively seek out right-wing opinions and just stay confined to their echo chambers, so everything they don't like is literally Hitler.

A news editorialist is a fake news anchor who isn't even trying to hide how biased and inaccurate they are, then when they get called out they say they're a comedian or an opinionist, so you can't expect them to have any ethics or standards, despite them presenting their content as factual information with a snarky tone. See also: John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, etc. You can thank John Stewart and his "news comedy" for making this a thing.

It's a weird feeling, but I've gotta back Non Compete in this. The undead monstrosities that are the major networks, and their attempts to crush all independent competition and constantly rewrite history into whatever suits the narrative of the moment are far worse than any spergy pack of internet commentators, even commie ones.

Plenty of alt-right people and various white nationalist extremists have flirted with apologism and support for fundamentalist Islam. That white nationalist honeypot group that splintered from Atomwaffen Division was called "The Base" which they deliberately took because it was the English language version of Al Qaeda.

Yeah, the IronMarch Global Fascist Fraternity (although not alt-right) was open to having Salafist Muslims on the forum because their shared hatred of liberalism was more conducive to their goals than the complacency of generic right-wing racists. If I recall, that changed after the murders by Devon Arthurs who killed fellow Atomwaffen members Jeremy Himmelman and Andrew Oneschuk.

I'm hoping it holds out long enough for philsophy tube to succumb to his weird urge to become contrapoints, I'm a big fan of Hellraiser, the skin I live in and creepy erotic body alteration horror in general so I'd really like to see that one play out before breadtube implodes.

The reaction from quintin if oliver changed his name to natelie alone would make my day

I can't even begin to imagine the effect that would have on the trans community & what's left of Breadtube. Hell, it might even be the final nail in the coffin for the latter (along with Hbomb, Shaun & Ian Danskin getting caught up in some kind of sex scandal).

Unfortunately the closest we get to this is Twist, formerly Visionary Oaks. Noncompete signalboosted Twist, and Twist soon after took a sharp turn away from that bullshit.
To us, it's common sense for this group of people to try on different beliefs. BUT to the cult of Breadtube when Twist stated that they are not an Anarcho Communist, Noncompete had committed high treason.
That's all old news but whether it's the FakeSagan we deserve, it's the FakeSagan we got.

Given recent events, the next may be QUITE a bit more .....interesting
I wouldn't be surprised. Bets, anyone?

My bet is sex pest scandal. Breadtube has been remarkably resilient against those so far, mainly because their culture is a bit different than the Twitter cancel crowd and they give themselves way more benefit of the doubt, but I'm thinking something really bad that involves actual criminal charges and hard prison time, and reveals that not only was one of them diddling preschoolers or something, but that a bunch of others knew and kept it quiet.

As for who the guilty party might be, that's too target rich an environment to pick one with any certainty, although I'd put the likes of Xanderhal and Philosophy Tube pretty high. It might also be someone like Ian or Shaun who seem a little more normal on the surface. Sometimes the ones who put on a normal face are the worst. Look at Epstein.

Oh please. I do not believe that any of these boys have it in them to commit acts described here. Sex scandals? They all blow over for them. It's all roleplaying text bullshit. Besides, the cult is too strong. Not many would speak out, those who do, it turns out to be a little bit of woke discomfort over chatlogs. Who cares?

But when in an echo chamber, as they do create, words will eventually bounce back and engulf you.
I would not be horribly surprised to see a mentally-unstable fanatic of one of these personalities commit an act of terror.

They create this bubble around them that worships them, whether they intend it or not. They are fanatics and they are unavoidable in any group, yet with political circles, you have idpol tensions and class-disenfranchisement. You have mentally unstable people with their fears reinforced constantly, on stream, in chat, in videos. The viewers are far more threatening than the figureheads.
Easily one of these breadtubers could inspire a crime.

The figureheads themselves? I'd expect an hero and/or the slowburn-makings of an "Ethan Ralph of the left".
