I once had a job where my predecessor was not only thoroughly inept, but even lazier than I was, and clung on like a leech for years until he was fired. He also earned nearly twice what I was paid, but I was still overpaid and a lazy asshole to boot. But it didn't matter, especially as it was an obscure, boring, but essential technical job that nobody else knew how to do, or even what was involved in doing it. So I sat on my ass all day, browsed the internet on my phone, even wrote a book at my desk without anyone noticing, but because I achieved massively better performance figures than him by doing stuff like turning up on time and actually answering my phone once in a while (things that were beyond my predecessor's capabilities, apparently), management thought I was a genius and I got paid an awful lot to do very little for several years until I was ready to move on.
This is the opportunity that Jeffery has been presented with. If he really did cash out of Bitcoin at the right time, that suggests that he understands money, risk, and investment, all things that Lowtax was clueless about. All Jeffrey has to do is start a new Patreon, maybe a GoFundMe to get the forums migrated or at least get the code fixed up, and actually spend the money on what he promises instead of pies and booze. All he has to do is post on the forums once in a while. All he has to do is launch some merch and ship it within 2 years of the orders. All he has to do is not beat his partners and try to get them deported. These are not high bars to clear. Most people could probably manage them. But Goons are used to Lowtax.
Now watch him fuck it up somehow. This is SA, after all.
