Oregon is suing the Federal Government, including the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Federal Protection Service. Many speakers have been quoted telling the Federal Government to "get out of our city". Most of the concerns have been coming from the apparent "unregistered and unidentified" federal officers snatching protestors in vans. I wonder how they figured out which department to sue?

I have a lot to say about this, considering they're concerned about the Fed's doing their job rather then the people burning Portland to the ground, but all I can really say is....... good luck

GC only applies (of the parts the US signed, in this case) to international war fair, civil war it does not apply in general.

It doesn't matter to be honest, the rioters break the GC all the time:
Geneva crosses are being used by "medics"
a) the crosses are only to be used on civilian (which they claim they are) things in times of war, not peace. Only military vans/medics/etc can wear the the cross at all times.
b) Medics and things protected by the cross are to be neutral, time and time again these "medics" engage in non neutral acts during these protest (throwing gas cans back at the police, taking active parts other then providing aid in these "protests").
