The numbers are the same though. The bar chart presents averages of the months presumably, and the line chart is on a different scale so the difference is magnified - bar chart runs from 0 dollars and zero patrons, line graph starts at 3900 patrons and 18k dollars.

We're not close to where the number of patrons exceeds viewers, because the x-axis to the right indicates the rate of growth of the patreon earnings, while the x-axis to the left shows the change in patron numbers. If you actually look at the numbers, you can see that the average has almost consistently been about $5/patron. Assuming that his minimum patreon tier is $5, this is entirely in line with the idea that the vast majority of his patrons are throwing in the bare minimum because they have little to no disposable income.
