Man, the next wave of the GOP is going to be really interesting.

Yeah, that seems like a reasonable way to respond to that ad.

Fortunately i have dual citizenship so if need be and leave this decaying country of required.
Is it to China?

1. Trump announces a mediocre vaccine as the end all despite scientific evidence to the contrary and produces the vaccines for everyone, regardless of the result.
Trump has taken nothing but hydroxychloroquine (an anti-malaria drug) and zinc to combat the coronavirus. If anything, he'll be touting those.

And how come Putin isn't on the "who will win the election" survey. Oh that's right, it is - silly me, I see Trump written there quite clearly.
So yeah either you're trolling or just retarded.

Interesting sorta fear-mongering approach they're going for there...
I'm torn on whether I like it or not. 2016 Trump wasn't really fear-mongering. He said "these are the problems, and if you vote for me these are the things I will do to fix them." Very hopeful, and iirc HK even did a write-up on how effective this was.

However, these actually are serious issues and everyone else is saying that it will be 100% ok to defund the police, while these ads are Trump saying, "no this is a lie, here's the consequence if you vote for them".

So I'm a bit mixed.

He doesn't need the ad to be everything to everyone though. Take this ad and an earlier one hitting Biden on ending fracking.

This ad might resonate with someone who works at a bank and lives in the Minneapolis suburbs. The second ad wouldn't because their job doesn't depend on fossil fuels.

At the same time, someone who lives in rural western Pennsylvania isn't too worried about defunding the police. There's barely any police in the county to defund and their gun safe is bigger than their refrigerator. But that second ad about Biden outlawing fracking, that'll resonate.

Even though both of those ads completely fell flat with one of those people, that still ads up to two potential voters in Trump's column. Political ads are OR gates, not AND gates.

Well, considering that people like Keith Ellison--The former DNC Vice-Chair, current Minnesota Attorney General, and associate of Farrakhan--is all but outright saying that he doesn't want police officers to respond to rape calls, I'd say there's some room to be a little bit alarmed, and that perhaps people would be wise to pay an extra bit of attention.

When I wrote up all of that stuff about the politics of fear, I was not envisioning that barely a few years later we'd have an entire political party that wanted to abolish the police force and allow violent rioters to tear down their own cities. I knew that things were going to get a little bonkers, I just wasn't expecting them to embrace complete fucking anarchy and overt racism. When you have an entire political party threatening to burn your house down and beat the shit out of you, I don't consider it to be fear-mongering when the opposition to that party goes, "Hey, they're threatening to burn your house down and beat the shit out of you."

Agreed- it's fear-mongering in some eyes, but I personally see it as an extrapolation given the public statements and line of thought from Antifa/BLM and the Democrats.

In this case, it's less so about fixing the policing problems (which is really in the hands of the cities/states, and on which some additional safeguards have been already proposed by Trump), but actually keeping the systems intact enough that they can be fixed- this ad postulates that the entire policing system will be destroyed by Democrat radicals- and it's already not a hypothetical in some cities.

The second thing, also noted by heyitsmike, is that this ad will likely not be playing everywhere in the US. If anything, it may be more effective targeted towards the suburbs around large cities.

I want Trump to run an ad saying 'When the Democrats show you who they are, believe them.' It would probably get even more circulation than normal due to all the people outraged that evil, racist Drumpf would have the nerve to invoke Maya Angelou.

The suburbs are the prime target for an ad like that. And for the people who live in gated communities, I hope they're paying attention to that couple in St Louis. If they thought they were safe not just being in the suburbs, but in the suburbs inside of a gated community, they are very much mistaken.

The dems spent like $69-70 million on getting Abrams elected in Georgia too. But at least the race was extremely close. Like Bush-Gore levels of close. https://www.ajc.com/news/state--reg...e-exceeds-100-million/R0brqTrDaxwkAXq4mLMHuK/
Because Kemp had low voter enthusiasm from his base. Kemp is a bland, GOP good-ole' boy with hardened tofu for personality.
If Kemp had even an ounce of charisma he could have blown her out of the water. Instead he only won because his opponent was a fat racist who told voters in agricultural counties that "we dont need no farmers".

Though his handling of COVID might get him reelected easy though.

To some other western, white DeVeLoPd nation no doubt.

>"[the police's] main training is to use a firearm"

That's a contemptible lie. Big city cops only shoot like twice a year for their qualification. Your average concealed carrying civilian gets more practice.

>"Don't ask for justice, just 'talk to somebody'".

Where the actual FUCK do they get this childish idea that "let's just talk it out" is ever going to prevent rape or murder? Either these fucks have watched too much Disney, or they genuinely, unironically want criminals to run free.

It’s the latter. Anarchotyranny in action: they want “restorative justice” which means assraping white people for rolling a stop sign or tossing them in the slammer for unwoke thoughts but if a black man rapes a white woman, suddenly the police can’t find any good leads even if he did it all on Facebook Live.

if a black man rapes a white woman
Stop right there.
Blacks cannot rape whites as Rape = (Sex - Consent) + Power.
As blacks do not hold systemic power, it cannot be rape. Yes, blacks can have non-consensual sex with whites, but they cannot rape whites.
Educate yoself.

This is sarcasm

So, are there any legit points to vote for Biden, besides "he's not Trump."

I have a friend in Florida, who said that he won't vote this year, because Joe is just a puppet. And my friend is not a fan of trump.
I mean, if you like war, selling the U.S. to China, lining your pockets with kick-backs and bribes, extra-judicial assassinations of American citizens on foreign soil and murdering civilians overseas, yeah, Joe's got a lot to offer. If you're not a psychotic war-hawk or a corrupt politician, uh... Probably not. It'd be a boot-legged version of Obama's time in office (For the 8 weeks that it takes Biden to die I guess), and Obama did an awful lot of shit that wasn't exactly fantastic.

For some people, it's "muh return to normalcy" or "muh Obama nostalgia", but Biden is an exceptionally awful candidate. He only became the candidate because of name recognition, and he even doesn't think he can serve as POTUS for long with his age and mental state. Biden might have more broad appeal with "moderates", but Hillary had more enthusiastic supporters. That's why I think the Dems are running scared, even with him polling well -- he just doesn't generate the excitement or offer anything new or special, so who knows if people will even actually vote for him when it comes down to it.

I mean, this dude doesn't even control his own interviews anymore. His handlers will literally cut him off mid-sentence if it looks like he's about to go off-script. No wind-down, no warning, just a kill switch that slams us into a black screen and the journalists have absolutely no questions about it. He's kept in such a tight bubble that they'd be better off just fucking deep-faking him, because he's clearly not the one in charge, anyways.

Really puts "muh teleprompter" into perspective doesn't it?
