what baffles me the most about this whole game is the fact that it had everything going for it in the beginning, and just hear me out:
it had a seemingly interesting (not to me but the weebs tho) enough concept to be executed, nearly every big youtuber that does let's play like markiplier , pewdiepie, jacksepecticeye, etc. has played it either once or multiple times, the patreon for the game is successful (how people haven't noped out of that I have no idea), it gets regular fanart from decent artists, its gotten so much attention, how in the fuck did everything go so wrong? of course, the obvious answer is the developer himself, but its seriously incredible how one man can create and then just mess it up and drag its corpse for years and years on end. hell I didn't even know this game was still going until the suicide baiting logs came out. When I first heard of it I went outloud "wasn't it that one japanese, murder game from years ago?" lo and behold it was. I've missed out on a lot of hilarious content that I have no idea how it escaped my radar, GG on 2000 pages you crazy bastards.
if you compare this game to something like Five night's at freddys that both had similar kind of beginnings, one dude just wanted to make a game and it got popular by youtubers, its astounding. yes yes, FNAF is a cancer we really won't get rid of anytime soon, but you got to admit Scott Cawthon is a hard working guy and loves cranking out those games all the time just because his fans want it, and really? good on him, dude is swimming in cash now and probably could be to last several lifetimes, his wife/kids are lucky bastards.
but then you just look over at......whatever the hell all this is, its like watching the virgin game developer vs the chad one lmao
