The Mysterious Mr. Enter / Jonathan Rozanski's "Growing Around" - IndieGoGo Campaign Failed, John going off the deep end, "Turning Red" is ignorant about 9/11 (later retracted)
Shit like this is why I'm amazed he still has loyal ass patters. He has such open disdain for all of them, yet they keep willingly taking it. Every time.
It's like other lolcows who are doing a project (e.g. YandereDev), their young and impressionable fans who don't know any better, are fascinated by these creative types (As in the fans find them creative) who throw around terminology and have a slightly higher than the average understanding of their field, so they are more willing to look past their flaws because they like having this window to a world that they have never experienced before.
I know this because I was a retarded kid who liked Enter

I just posted it (with a time stamp to the relevant portion) as an expedient example of what I'm talking about when I say 'hate speech" because y'all can't seem to understand context or nuance in the slightest, and think "hate speech" = "saying anything black people dislike".
But hey, keep dismissing arguments with insults, you know, instead of forming an actual argument, lol.
There is only free speech. The entirely subjective standards by which hate speech is justified in law is so fickle to be disgustingly abusable. It's no different than Sharia Police arresting women for saying on social media that they should not have to wear veils.
I'm guessing you're British, or some other kind of Euro. You're people do not understand how free speech works because you do not have actual rights. Your countries emulate American system of rights to be more appealing economic partners.
Now, it's the 21st. Not the 28th. Enter is crawling slowly towards forty, but we're not there yet.

Speaking from experience, all it takes to break the facade is to either find someone better or become someone better. I stopped being an Enter fan after taking some film classes and seeing how many behind-the-scenes challenges Enter actively ignores in his ramblings. You think some TV show's writing or presentation is subpar; that the producers aren't putting in enough "effort" or "care?" Try to do better with the same amount of money (or less,)the same amount of time (or less,) and the same amount of executive supervision (or more.) You have no business telling producers what to do when you don't even know how or why they do it.

I see we are not very bright.
No one here is arguing with you. They are mocking you. This is because you're sperging out about First Amendment issues in a thread about a manchild who throws temper tantrums on the reg. If you want a non-zero chance of serious engagement, make a thread in Deep Thoughts.
We already have one. It got taken down along with everything else on his DeviantArt, but the plot was that Sally realises she's an actor in a TV show where kids rule, and her real name is "Grace" presumably named after her voice actor. I find the plot really strange considering GA isn't a live action show.
Lots of cartoons do that actually. The examples off my head are:
a famous looney tunes short with a similar scenario,
The Cleveland Show Live episode of The Cleveland show,
The Ren and Stimpy Show had several episodes where it was revealed that they were actors in a show,
every short in Animaniacs is canonically a “nonsensical” short that was canceled by Warner bros except in instances when they took place at the studio itself(or when they went to notComic-Con)
OK KO had a “behind the scenes” episode where the characters are revealed to be actors and they watch the original pilot.
12oz mouse is a virtual reality simulation, so technically they’re all actors in a way
this is why people who truly want to make their own shoes, first go in and pitch something to get their foot in the door, and once they've proved themselves, make something with a bit more control.
Eh, not necessarily true. The outstanding majority of pitches come from people who already work in the studio in some capacity and were able to ask for the exec’s time. Going directly with a pitch is rare and if
What is it about masks that has pissed off so many people? Not just Enter, but seemingly half the population. It's just a fucking mask. They're not asking you to put on a hazmat suit, or anything, and if they were, then yeah, I could understand the outrage, but it's literally just a mask.
What is it about asking people to wear a strip a cloth that has caused them to lose their absolute monkey minds?
It’s the act of being forced to wear something. Like it or not, mandatory mask requirements are a infringement on personal freedom, regardless of the reason for it. I don’t necessarily agree with the sperg out, but it’s definitely an annoying inconvenience when you get someone only to notice you forgot your mask at home or it flies out the window when you’re driving because you had it on the seat. Then there’s the flip flop on whether they’re effective or not and the elitism people are having about the situation. There’s plenty to see why people are mad. I just ignore it these days.

Cringe Take. Leaving the“I stopped being an enter fan” comment aside along with the uselessness that is film school, you literally gave the basic bitch “you do better then!” argument. It’s entirely possible to analyze why something is bad or doesn’t work without doing it yourself. Hell, even without an educated stance you can just say you hated the story and be fine in most instances. Enter falls flat because me misunderstands everything, not because he’s criticizing it.

Bro, you gave Mr Enter $300, weren’t angry when he didn’t deliver, and then felt bad when you got your money back. If you don’t understand how a business transaction works, you have no business talking about first amendment rights.
There was probably a fire at a theme park and that’s their 9/11
But seeing as vindictive and morally lacking these kids are, my guess is 9/11 style attacks happen constantly

Point taken. I should've phrased better. I'm not trying to say that all critique is worthless unless you can do it better. It's totally fine to express what you like or dislike, and inform others about what they may like or dislike. That's what critics are for. It only gets problematic when the critic takes what they don't like and turns it into some corporate conspiracy. It's the difference between "Family Guy is disturbing and unfunny" and "Family Guy is run by talentless hacks that don't deserve their jobs."
It's even worse when a critic says they can do better, uses their cringy passion project to explain how they are doing it better, and ignore the fact their project would never be as "good" as it is if they had limited resources or strict deadlines or focus groups to consider.
You know, it's weird that Mr. Enter is still doing work for Growing Around, it's an ambitious to be sure, but it must tiresome and tedious to do. He should've just kept doing reviews, at least then shit wouldn't have hit the fan far more often than what he tried to do, but what can you do when someone as stubborn as Mr. Enter has a dream.

He's got the 'tism, though. Boredom and tedium for a normie is comfortable routine for the autist. In all likelihood it's probably something that gives him motiviation throughout his day.
And so, yet another installment of "I started this because people were bugging me, and I'll stop doing this because people are still bugging me" comes to an end.

No, that's the "series-qna," and it's still open. "character-qna" was the one where Enter roleplayed as his characters and gave vague nothing answers to everything. Half the questions were answered with "X isn't available right now," and the other half were answered with "I dunno." It was the cringest part of the Discord, and everyone involved is better off without it.
