Even IF the dam doesn't break there's still massive amounts of flooding on going and there bread basket is flooded. There economy must be fucked worst then America's at this point. There is also the aporkalypse ongoing as well as the Batsoup flu. It would appear china is losing its ability to feed its self. Forget massive desertification

Curbing Desertification in China
Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in northwestern China, has been in a battle against the desert since the 1950s. A World Bank-supported project has been helping to control desertification, revegetation, and introduce other ecological protection measures.
