I should note, there's a theory on the WW side that Nyx got a bit nervous when Casey Erick starting including screenshots of PULL posts in his court filings. While she herself would be in the clear due to CDA safe harbor provisions, she would have to respond to a valid US court order to identify users. Notably, this shutdown happened right after Justin Beiber won the right to subpoena Twitter to identify two anonymous metooers. She has said she doesn't want to deal with certain shit.

I dunno if I believe that. I think it's both a stretch and coincidence. The "occam's razor" explaination is probably more along the lines of her being tired of dealing with stupid cunts all the time. But there you go. Form your own opinions.

He likely won't. If he gets a US subpoena. That's the issue. He had to release info to the authorities not to long ago, because he got one from a Federal court in New York.

Again, not saying that's why Nyx shut it down, but there's a grain of truth in the idea that users can cause obnoxious legal problems for admins.

I actually started out on PULL, then made the jump to the Farms. Got sick of the culture and tone policing and whatnot over on PULL, tho I liked the site otherwise.

Also I wasn’t the right type of lady to post on their site, in that I wasn’t significantly overweight and in love with femmey Kpop boys.
