Armchair psychology old asshole bitching from me, I can get behind the idea that guys should keep the sex shit in their pants, treat women with respect, and that yes, even Jesus said to not give into lustful urges no matter what women wear, but thots haven't established the societal and community conventions to help make the world a better place or make efforts to earn that respect, and even then, I know they would immediately fuck that up. I don't know if it's society at large to blame, I don't know if it's because cosplay thots are spoiled rich whores who live in their own spoiled princess delusions to "be pure" at any cost of decency and common sense, I don't know if it's fucked up female conventions that coward ass feminists haven't even bothered tackling because "tee hee lol that's a lot of hard work" tl;dr they're actually lazy, but I agree that if you want to say if someone is hot, you should do that without being assumed as a rapist or a sex offender.
If someone shows something the natural response is to look at it, especially if it is sexual. "The thong and tiny bikini top is part of my Quiet costume, it's not sexual!" - you should take that up with mother nature, Karen, we didn't have a say in this either.
Many things can be civilized away, like an unashamed and unending gaze at someones cleavage, that's just rude and unsettling. Trying to do something about dudes noticing absurd cleavage or an ass hanging out is a dead end, that can't be done, the closest we can get is to force people to lie about it - oh I didn't notice, oh I didn't look etc. That won't actually achieve anything besides creating an army of repressed supreme gentlemen and lining the pockets of Patreon and Onlyfans.
Anyway, make closed cosplay conventions for women only and no dudes can stare at their costumes. I'm no genius but I predict that the prevalence of sexy cosplay at a convention like that would drop. Bad news for anyone with a Patreon or Onlyfans.
Here's my confused tl;dr
