I'm not really even convinced that DLive is as prickly as Ralph makes it out to be. It only really is for him, and for good reason.

Judging by some of the other political shows on there, you can generally get away with more "extreme" cursing and "in minecraft" type discussion than Youtube's report system would have allowed even at the time when TRR first got deleted, just so long as the vibe of the show and the chat is generally good spirited. Ralph's problem now is that the organic good spirit his how show had at its peak is long gone, and that all the more level-headed followers have all drifted away too, all that's left must look like a complete freakshow to the admins. Still not much better than how it looked on stream.me.

If I was an admin for DLive then I'd desperately want to avoid the situation stream.me had where a show like TRR was given free rein to define the whole site, and in their case I would stick to the letter of the TOS. For any other show, they would earn the leeway they get by not being a glaring stain on the platform.

The most important low point in Jim's mind right now would still have to be Ralph's embarrassing handling of the stream that began the Dax Simpspiracy. Jim comes on and gets trapped in a call where he unironically gets called "untrickable" by ecelebs who should know better than to say something so cringy, regardless of whether he was or wasn't tricked. And on top of that, the poor management of all the people in the call left him lost and barely understanding what was going on except for a few rare moments. It was a mess, and then it began a string of bad decisions that lasted for weeks.

Ralph might as well be radioactive after all that. How could anybody in Jim's position not rethink how much he puts himself in the hands of these people.

I don't think Jim will ever make a video about Ralph - jail, Healstream, Pillstream, Miami, any of his numerous spergouts on his and other people's steams over the years - nothing. Jim could easily have made a video on Ralph long ago, but he doesn't. Ralph seems to be some kind of sacred cow to Jim. He makes a few jokes, trying to get Ralph to laugh at himself so the trolls will go away, and that's it. Maybe behind the scenes he's ripping him a new one, but maybe it's like JF.
