Are the feds even there anymore though? Every other place has been PD. It would be kinda funny if the feds bounced and let Portland PD deal with this.

Feds only protect the federal buildings in Portland: the courthouse, the IRS building, and I think 1 more. They only come out if the fence is being attacked, push back protesters 1 block, then retreat again. It'll probably be the same tonight, unless the protesters get another angle grinder.

TBH they could end the whole thing quickly if they ever keep a squad stationed across the street, to hit the protests from the back and front simultaneously. But they've been purely defensive since the "unmarked feds" hysteria went national.

The feds might need to act quicker then they normal do, like once they start shaking/fucking around with the fence they need to respond, instead of waiting for the fence to break given the numbers.

Last night they almost lost the fence to the angle grinder and just the overwhelming crush on it. It was bent down to a 45 degree angle before the feds cleared it. They can NOT afford to let that happen again with a larger crowd.

You can't have a vertical foregrip on a shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches
There's no way that barrel is 18 inches.

A shotgun <18" needs a Short Barrel Shotgun NFA registration, regardless of attachments. Same deal with Short Barrel Rifles with barrels <16". The workaround is to build it as a pistol, which means no foregrip OR stock (hence those pistol AR "forearm braces" in place of shoulder stocks).

The picture appears to be a Saiga (AK-pattern shotgun). I wonder if a rifled barrel would let you run a 16" barrel without going NFA, or if your >0.5" barrel "rifle" would be a Destructive Device...

I didn't hear any sonic crack which would be indicative of rifle velocities but that could be due to potato recording equipment or possibly the environment and background noise masking it.

Most pistols are also supersonic (~1100 fps). Any 9mm or .40 for sure, and all but the heaviest .45 rounds.

Trump will bring federal charges, which I believe will prevent governors from pardoning, and has moved the courts heavily to the right. Besides having a stupid name, the Tampa Bay Rays logo looks like a logo for a brand of dog food.

It certainly doesn't look too impressive in general for a $CURRENT_YEAR professional sports team.

When they were the Devil Rays, their green uniforms were aesthetic af. Now they look like the bastard child of the Yankees' and Royals' alternate uniforms.

And looked like the A's uniforms, innit? Probably why the color was changed. Why did they take the "Devil" out though?!

It's shocking to me how blatant this is - the city council deliberately took away the less-lethal weapons so the police would either shoot people or stop policing. Either way, they'd get the media footage of chaos they wanted.

I mentioned in another post or thread that it's telling that the pro-2nd Amendment people largely know and obey the applicable laws on open carry and gun rights while they carry their weapons. in tonight's protests, people apparently failed weapon care 101 and had careless discharges that injured themselves, others, or both at once. Sad part of this is the latter group is the one that wants gun control.

It's already in the mainstream media outlets, which is how you know it's coordinated.

There's no doubt this is coordinated given how similar the activity is on live streams and other media from location to location. It's all puffery to make the insurrections protests look bigger than they really are.

And unlike cucked Mayors and Blue States, the Feds will punch back if attacked. It's why there is a sudden desire amongst democrat mayors to stop this shit.

Interestingly, I haven't seen any feds today, it's all been local police taking care of things, more aggressively than usual.

It is becoming increasingly clear that if they do not clean up their own shit, the feds will do it for them.

I think even the most cucked of cities (Seattle, Portland, etc.), those in charge know they at least have to make it look like they're trying to keep control locally because it's bad optics for them to have the Feds come in and use Federal Law -- with stricter rules and penalties -- to clean up their messes. To a lesser extent, I think the denial of the TRO yesterday played a part in that these cities are more willing to do whatever it takes to regain control without Federal intervention. That had to be a significant hit on their previous hands-off approach to most everything happening so far.
