Excuse the sperging but every year around my area there's a bunch of dumbfucks who will apparently eat anything they find in the woods, and predictably end up hospitalized. From some brief research, it appears that it differs between departments (some requiring frangible, etc), but generally they use soft-point ammo: https://forum.officer.com/forum/equipment-tactical/firearms/152837-223-ammo-question

Outside of service rifles, I know that police marksmen generally use BTHP ammo, but will switch to FMJ rounds (to limit deflection) if the shot is going to be through glass.

so got reprimanded today at work because during triage with someone who may have possibly contracted wu flu when asked if they been to any events so we can contract trace, said they were at a blm protest. Nigga I didn't prod for that info they volunteered it, and diseases don't discriminate but my boss had a major case of asshurt that they wrote me up.
fuck this shit im out I'm going back to being an or nurse that turns dicks into vaginas at least I'll be paid more.
