What really amazes me is how the US police likely know about all this and still don't do the obvious thing which is to take out the only weak link which are the antifa leaders on the ground actually organizing shit. A trained person would know how to spot these antifa leaders and mark them for arrest later on, something that has been happening to a limited extent but not as much as it's been needed. Other countries know these tactics and do exactly what's needed to get rid of the leaders of the protests. Growing up, there used to be a brand of milk that had a thermometer illustration on one of the sides and a scale showing how long milk will stay fresh at various temperatures. That time drops exponentially with increasing temperature.
It looks like they've already rebranded themselves -- the same tactic other shady entities use to try to stay under the radar. As for the unsanitary conditions, it may be optimistic at best for a health inspector to address it. Depending on both local rules and staffing ratios, it's not uncommon for yearly inspections to happen more along the lines of every 15-18 months instead unless some sort of food poisoning outbreak or complaint of egregious behavior warrants an immediate visit.
That sucks, @Niggaplease. others have already offered support, so all I'll add is that I hope you use your knowledge and experience to find a way to keep helping people that's less stressful and more satisfying for you.
All the while the politicians politicizing it insist they really aren't and that it's the people questioning the situation that are the ones politicizing it instead.
Funny how Democratic politicians are claiming African-Americans are the most disproportionately hit with COVID cases and deaths yet turn a blind eye when they fail to take the required precautions for their area. While I can understand not making a political issue out of someone contracting COVID from a protest, those people also have a right to know they were exposed and need to do more to protect themselves for the next couple of weeks.
As suspected, Anthem appears to be one of many shady -- and possibly unaccredited -- for-profit schools. While there might exist reputable for-profit institutions, it's been my experience that most try to operate with such a bare-bones budget that it utlimately kills both student morale and enrollment before the schools in question eventually close.
Those that grew up using the internet when it was still relatively new and limited to use by academics and students probably have the same idea that it's a place for people with similar interests to meet. Sadly, that's not the case now that nearly anyone can get an internet connection -- many of whom are people with nefarious or less-than-noble intentions.
They've been in America for almost a century and are practically an institution at this point. The tactics they perfected were first used in LA back when Walt Disney was still young. He went to Congress to testify about some of the shit the unions were pulling in the entertainment industry.
