Seems a bit redundant at that point. How many oc warbands do you need?

When it comes to Chaos,

Enough to have a 1:1 reenactment of the 13th Black Crusade.

Outside of that, GW released their annual report. There are several interesting points. For one, they still made money even though COVID. GW also wants to increase their market in China, which they have started through a Chinese developed mobile game (which one is that?) and that Bandi model. Perhaps that will translate to Cathay in Warhammer: The Old World?

Also, for those concerned about GW's politics, take a look at their diversity statement:
We continue to recruit for fit: the personal qualities you need to do a particular job as well as the necessary skills. We do not select based on any other criteria. I will do my best to ensure this is the case, and that we are fair and free from any bias and/or prejudice.

Yeah, GW ain't going to be doing any diversity hires in the foreseeable future.

Why would you reenact a failure?

The only acceptable elite armies are Cutodes and Knights obviously. You can only get away with it if you do a niche chapter like space sharks and minochads

First army = 40K Imperial Fists
Second army = 30K Imperial Fists
Third army =Carcharodons
Fourth army = Sisters of Battle

Same reason why people reenact battles and play the losing side: its fun. Also, what are you calling a failure? Or did you forget that there is now a permanent tear in the fabric of reality because of that war?
Sounds like a cope, Abaddon.

Space sharks?
more like based sharks!

Also obviously building a SM army for HH is a different thing.

Yeah, it hurts the wallet way more. I finally splashed out on a couple of Sicarans last month when FW reopened. They're badass, but boy howdy was that a lot of money.

I feel your wallet's pain.
I've been thinning out what I need from FW first before moving onto other units due to recent concerns of items no longer being available.
Mhara Gal Dreadnought, you're going to be a bitch.

Same. I've actually got nearly everything I need from FW at this point aside from a few miscellaneous units/tanks: Sigismund, some of those sweet Deimos Rhinos, a squad of Templar Brethren or Phalanx Warders, maybe a Spartan. I'm also talking to a buddy about going halves on the big Sicaran bundle they have.

That dreadnought is huge too, I like that it actually looks like you can fit an actual chaos marine inside the cockpit.

I managed to snag a few squads of custodians before all the fancy stuff came out, enough for a 1000pt game. That's about all the damage I can take, even today. Totally worth it though.

I just want 2 telemon, 2 caladeus, 1 sword contemptor, 1 spear contemptor, and some sagittrum. Literally everything but the caladeus is sold out.

I would take a Cobra, 2 Warp Hunters, a Wraithseer, 2 Wasps and maybe a Lynx. I'm not that into wraithknights.

Ebay. But expect chinese recasts.

As an aside, GW wanting to make inroads into China is... laughable.
You'd be surprised how few recasts there of of any of them besides the caladius. Also resin is sketchy and wouldn't want to trust the chinks with it. I'll just have to be patient. (Having to fix up the recasts themselves also annoys the fuck out of me.)

true chads have atleast one squad of guardsmen or the vehicle equivalent , no matter what your prime army is, hell i think iv still got some gondorian spear/swordsmen and archers in a box round here with the odd rohirrim. and some metal chaos marines form 5/6th.

It will be tough to sell the lore to a country that is run by the 4 ruinous powers IRL

No, just pull an 80's Hasbro/40's Disney.

Release a campaign with an accompanying event like the '03 Black Crusade event. Red and Gold Primaris marines that are Whitescars successor vs. a chapter of Red, White, and Blue renegade OG boys. OG boys have broken from the Imperium and need to be stomped into submission, plus make half of the chapter dark skinned dudes. Also include IG units on the Primaris side with some female special characters.

Release a mobile game, some sort of print material, and some visual material. Pack all of these with pro-PRC/"socialism" allegories/symbolism. (This will boost woke sales in the west, too.)

Simplify the kits like the Battle for Vedros sets and sell them at just a 20% markup in China since the factories are already there and GW wouldn't have to ship the models far. With the economy of scale of China, GW would still make bank, and revenue can be increased gradually over time.

After the initial push, GW can just "adjust" the narrative of the Chaos powers to represent all of the weaknesses of the west as claimed by the PRC. This would also allow GW to be more woke.

Tzeentch - weakness of constantly changing leaders
Khorne - Jingoist imperialism
Slannesh - stays the same. Just make a bunch of models that look like trannies. (Market these in the west as representation. If the tranny models are OP dummies will think it's great.)
Nurgle - Decay brought about by individualism and neglect of duty to the state.
