Honestly nothing really to sperg about with the new vid aside from the fact that its pretty much just preaching to people who already agree with the points. Something about seeing people still confused as to what the fuck is going on with the channel is funny though.
Do you think the channel getting fucked AGAIN has more to do with it than the members? To find the podcast now you have to goto their website or one of their audio feeds. There hasnt been any update aside from the video of them explaining that YT nuked their channel. I wonder if they think its not worth it to try if Youtube is just going to keep fucking with them.

Digi's reasoning for why he is trans on TDS is really emblematic of the whole culture and thinking surrounding this particular phenomenon at this point in time. His claims can be summed up as follows:
Yes, if you have long hair as a pre-pubescent boy, people will naturally assume you're a girl simply because most kids with long hair tend to be girls and at that age the hormones haven't kicked in to differentiate your features enough.
Yes, puberty and the long process of transforming from a largely androgynous 12 year old kid to a fully grown man at 20-25 can be confusing - that's why we have countless instances of media and literature dealing with that subject in one way or another. It's very normal to have such doubts as you're growing up but the important point is that you eventually have to learn to accept it and make the best of your physical reality. Frankly, I'm not at all surprised that Digi didn't like his appearance because he's always looked like a homeless man - emphasis on homeless, not man.
Digi is just one of many men that have failed to face the unavoidable hurdles head-on and instead chose to ignore them. He was faced with society's expectations of what a man is and caved to the pressure in an unproductive way by simply cutting his hair short and growing an ungroomed beard. He saw his own reflection as unsatisfactory but pretended not to care. And now he has an easy way out: Why try so hard to finally grow up and be a man when you can just throw in the towel?
It is nothing more than a tacit admission of defeat. He got to this point because his own form was unsatisfactory to him and pretending to be a woman will change absolutely nothing, because now he has put himself in a position where it becomes impossible to be as good as he wants to be. Sooner or later, he will realise this. The only question is whether he will do so before invasive surgery or if he will join the 42%.

A few thoughts that come to mind here...
Even as someone who struggles with money, it's hard to feel pity with Digi's desperation to make money when he did everything a YouTube personality could to drive his audience away. He insulted his audience continously while it was at it's peak, he constantly changed the type of content he made, and he bought into the idea that people were there for him as a person. As brutal as it is, people only really care about the content that person can make. Digi stopped making compelling content after alienating a large part of his audience even before going off the deep end, and he seemingly sqaundared the decent salary that was made at his peak. Hard to say I would do better, but you can only blame yourself for the money you spend.
Second, this idea that May could be the voice of the channel is horrible. Her voice and personality is horrible. It gave me a headache and it gives the impression of someone who is nagging at you rather than someone who is ranting. Of course a topic like Uzaki would get likes because outrage around it is stupid. It's a stupid comedy with some boobs. Anyone who gets mad or takes it seriously deserves to be made fun of and everyone knows it. If she narrates a more serious or nuanced topic, it won't do as well, and she won't make the cash she is hoping for. She ain't Digibro, even as the female version of Digi. She sucks, and that's why she hasn't taken off as a personality of her own.
Pretty much, I've always respected Youtubers who have said "fuck it" and dropped out of the rat race of constantly making content they didn't want to make, but Jesus, if you don't plan ahead before you do it, things will end in disaster. Anyone with common sense, foresight and self awareness knows this.
At this point, all paths lead to mediocrity and disappointment. Except for people who want to milk the lolcow, but I think this one will run outta milk rapidly.

He doesn't care what society's expectations are or even knows what they are. Nobody puts pressure on him except maybe to mow the lawn. I strongly believe his ideas of gender roles are mainly derived from anime and that's where he fails at in his eyes. Didn't he describe a "real man" as "one strike, one kill"? Idiotic.
If I was convinced liking ice cream is for girls I would also conclude I fail as a man.

Like Sseth (the youtuber) said in one of his videos as a joke "I have a brain parasite; and it's called anime". Sadly this is truly the case for Digi. Where I first had a grasp on Digi's world view, I have no fucking clue what he's thinking nowadays.
This was my first assumption too. I have to laugh at the youtube comments on the new Uzaki vid though; his neglegence is coming back to bite him in the ass and I think the viewers are right. Personally, after having seen May in videos I automatically associate her voice to her spazz nature, I just don't like listening to her.

This is pretty lolsy considering it still hasn't hit either benchmark (probably will by end of the day). I think no matter how well the video should do, Digi's channel is too fucked in the YT algorithim

That idea of him wanting to be a little girl and infantilizing himself is nothing new. Multiple times, when he streamed digi vs everybody, he mentioned that he identified with the little girl getting fucked when reading lolicon, not the guy fucking the girl. So all fits together.
