EDIT: ShaoKhanArtist just tipped and hit the goal out of nowhere - he wasn't active in the chat or anything that I saw. He's a possible candidate for the recurring secret whale and didn't use a meme name tonight because Phil is obviously worked up about troll tips.
Anyone else able to think of any legitimate career where this can happen? I mean the situation where someone gives you money, you reach out to take it, and they pull their hand back while simultaneously telling you to go fuck yourself, and there's no sort of legal repercussions for them having done so.

But there is no Plan B. There never was.

No, but then I also can't imagine a career where you ask someone for money, they give it to you and ask if you're going to do anything for them, and then you tell them to go fuck themselves for expecting anything... and ask them for more money. And then they give it to you.

Maybe you don't need a Plan B so long as there is a never-ending cavalcade of people stupid enough to participate in Plan A.

So Phil was at $30 (all JayHale) at the halfway point of the stream. He then went to get water after a mid-stream beg. He came back to another $25 from JayHale. He also got two $60 tips from LSB. Phil is all of a sudden suspicious and is 'verifying' in emails. We've stopped the stream to do this. He also described LSB as "a known troll".

Anyway, the fact that it's LSB's name, it is a red flag and so he is going to refund the tips. But after the stream. He'll refund those later. Sure Phil. So we're back to $57 from JayHale.

Can I just point out that this really demonstrates how staged this is. He always gets a clutch tip from a different meme name to save the evening streams and he never bats at eye at it being fake. So either those tips are consistently fake and he doesn't care because it 'saves the streak', or he knows exactly who it is that is tipping under those meme names and is expecting them to show up so he knows it is real despite absolutely no surface evidence that it is, and no attempt to verify like the one we just got. Pretty fucking sloppy, Phil.

EDIT: We just got a $15 tip from a new meme name about Wings. This, for some reason, didn't require verification.

EDIT 2: Phil got a streak-hitting tip from "PWDubzSucks" that asked about the escort. He said that because it is a new name referencing an old detractor meme, he also had to verify if this is real. It's the same guy as the LSB tips, Phil is going to refund the money later, and it doesn't count toward the vest goal. Phil. Buddy. 3 months of you claiming that you can't verify who is tipping... now we're back to checking emails on stream to verify. Could you put some effort into the gaslighting please?

EDIT 3: You can joke about WWE Champions now, because it isn't real. The problem is if you talk like it is real because it isn't real. But you can make little jokes. Like people have been in chat 'talking about Hulk Hogan' (very broad reference to connect to Champions, Phil). Phil then immediately told the chat to stop talking about it, because you can joke about it, you can't talk about it.
"We're either going to say it's a joke or we're going to ignore it and not talk about the nonsense, because it's definitely a fucking joke."
Has anyone asked him why he still can't verify that he doesn't have a WWE Champions app by showing his phone? Is his narrative still because "dae 'tractors will haxx0r me"? Because he just recently showed off his phone for less important stuff.

He stated that he didn't want to show any sensitive information and that if he did show a game and it had a screen name different than any of his usual DSP names that we would dig into those names too. This Saga has been in the smoker long enough that the Pig is starting to fall apart. He was trying to discredit WWE Champions as just another meme.

Building and selling to others, trading parts, etc... you can make decent money doing it, especially in recent years since basically anything from the last decade that can use a decent GPU can turn into a capable gaming rig.

Of course, Phil never did any of this. He specifically had his "lemon" built by one of these people, then bitched and moaned because he has no idea what he's doing.
This is something I've seen get flipped in alotta peepul's minds recently for some reason. The "lemon" PC is the most recent on he bought from CyberPower PC for $3K after he moved to Washington in 2014, not the one a fan built for him in 2011.
The most recent PC Phil picked out the parts for. It's the PC he still uses today to stream, and says it cannot run games and stream at the same time. . .or actually he knows it can, he just doesn't wan't to set it up. . .and claims he cannot play PC games because he would need 2 whole computers to do that. . .

Except he has a 2nd PC sitting in his closet that was built for him by fans as a project so Phil could play PC games, and is still a perfectly decent computer, but he can't use that one because it's a "back-up just in case of emergencies".

Phil tried to play Rage on his CyberPower PC, a game notorious for running shitty out of the box. Surprise, the game ran shitty out of the box as Phil tried to test playing Rage and streaming simultaneously and Phil declared that streaming and playing a game from the same PC was impossible. He says he still cannot play ANY PC games, claims THIS is why no one uses PC's for games, and declares his computer a $3K lemon. Timestamped @ 10m58s
This is the PC sitting in Phil's closet: It has an i7-950 3.07 GHz processor, it has an NVidea GTX-460 graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM but one of the sticks came lose during shipping and it took Phil a while to figure out to plug it in. It also has a 1080p monitor.

This is his current $3K lemon PC that he "cannot play games on": It has an i7-4930k 3.9 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX-780ti graphics card. It has a 256 GB SSD, and I don't know where mocking the motherboard in it arose from or what the deal with that is but I don't know why this motherboard would be some kind of issue https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_X79/ OMG it has sound absorbing foam :lit: also the case came cracked after Phil shouted "This is how you DO package a PC for shipping!" to shit on the guys who built him one for free 3 years ago. This is the PC he says can only handle playing games with extremely light system requirements.

As far as I know the only thing wrong with his CyberPower PC is user error from the dumb-dumb sitting in front of it.

Thanks for the full update on his PCs, I've been wondering for some time. I knew about the 780ti PC, which was honestly an awesome rig for the time, even today it would be just fine playing most games at max settings. It's a shame it's wasted on this asshole.

Wow what a fucking simpleton fuck if he can't do something with that rig six years ago, I retired my old setup this year with my Trumpbux to a Threadripper 2950 and I was using an i7 4820 since they were release and it handled pretty much every new release fine at high settings and here's his pigroach ass bitching about Rage goddam feel free to call me mati but this takes it for me because I did better with less for longer AND the current setup I have cost signifigantly less than what he got and is far better.

If my memory serves the first gen i5+ was already pushed past the limits of what software could utilize just because of the multiple core setup and the only major advancement in computer tech in the past 6 years has been upgrades to the GPU. Even still getting a top of the line GPU 6 years ago would put you mid range of GPU tech now and you would still be able to run just about anything on the market with maybe a couple settings tweaks. Throw more than the base 8 gig of ram into your rig and you can play around with heavy editing software, but basic should set you up enough to do OBS + Game, and if the framerate drops past 50fps you just tweak your graphics settings. My guess between all of these options the pigroach is just too lazy and too stupid to utilize any of what he has, it's like giving a 10 year old a Lambo.

Now that I'm thinking about it I remember looking at the options available on CyberPower PC's website in mid-2014 and I'm fairly certain Phil just went through and clicked the most expensive option available for everything.

I think the Nvidia GTX-780ti was the best Nvidia graphics card they offered, same with the SSD I think 256 was the highest option, he's also got a 1000 watt power supply in there and a 3 TB hard drive.

Oh don't even get me started on DSP and hardware. Ever since AMD released their Zen 2 CPU's, it's been easier than ever to build a true beast for around 1k or so. The high amount of cores and threads that those chips offer are excellent for streaming and anything else that isn't PC gaming (this is about to change with the new consoles though).
There is also the fact that many "content creators" just outright go for Threadrippers and while the price is high (not that high compared to what Intel used to demand for similar, frankly) it quickly pays for itself and then some.

But as we all know, what I just wrote is basically a different language for our favorite PC connoisseur even though he used to host LAN parties all the time.
Bonus meme (during the Switch unboxing): "Micro SD? Does anything still use Micro SD in this current age?"

rambo and dsp reunion soon

DSP wants to start a new tips goal of some kind, but it can't be a vest streak because that won't last forever. But he wants his audience to come up with the idea. This fat fuck doesn't want to come up with any idea, not because he's lazy (and he certainly is lazy), but because he thinks if someone else came up with the idea it removes any responsibility from him.

That "This is why people don't do stuff on PC" line makes me laugh. By people do you mean all the other streamers who stream solely from a PC? You know, the majority of streamers.

I swear Phil doesn't know what graphics settings are and just thinks it's like console where you just play it out of the box. Did he test any other games or did he just see how Rage ran and then just assume his PC couldn't run anything?

I'm suspecting that he's said before about the difficulty on games that it's like a TV dinner and that's the way it's supposed to be and in regards to Rage it uses that proprietary engine that's notorious for shitting on any rig at the time that wasn't featured in a magazine. I'm still just shocked he could be that big of a fuckup that processor and board combo can handle anything today if you just got some more ram I'd say 32 gigs of DD3 seeing as that was around then and a 6-8gb vidya card.
