Rockford IL is not a suburb. It is a small city in its own right roughly 85 miles west of Chiraq. Rockford ONCE was considered Illinois' second largest city. Not anymore. Rockford isn't even number three. Rockford is surrounded by smaller towns: New Milford to the south. Belvidere to the east, Winnebago to the west, and Loves Park and Machesney Park to the north.
Rockford is currently a shithole and in the top 10 of most dangerous cities.

Why did the citizens of Rockford show immense outpouring of support for slain Rockford Police officer Kevin Rice, gunned down by...you guessed it. My new town loves the police. Their Facebook page is full of people giving them food and gifts. It is a great change of pace tbh.
