I used to really like B99 but over the past few years I’ve become more and more negged and find the later episodes particularly bad. I couldn’t bear to watch the episode wherein the woman or the blacks or whatever it was gave their little monologues about how “it’s just hard urg”. It’s even grating to see the premise for what it is: genius amazing Jew with his loyal goyim servant is king of the goys.

A big one for me is advertising. So much of modern advertising seems to be reaffirming tropes and ideas which I am opposed to. The poster for Love Island which I was being shown really illustrated it exactly, with the black men being placed between two women and the white guys either with other guys or just 1 woman. Unfortunately I can’t find the exact image which was advertised to me, but this photo is similar although not as bad.

Borat (and to an extent every other work by Sacha Baron Cohen) was a big one for me, due to the fact that I found out what the intentions of Sacha Baron Cohen's jokes in that movie were not to troll people and take advantage of their kindness for laughs, but to do that and then pass it off as an "expose" people to push his own narrative. This would be fine, if it was non-partisan, which it isn't. Who Is America? is a great example of this because he doesn't lampoon the right and the left both. He lampoons mostly the right and goes very soft on the left. He goes super rough on doing the ol' HA HA CONSERVATIVES BAD routine yet when he makes fun of the lefties, it's the slightest sort of poking fun at them and he attacks harder-to-bait peeps on the totem pole of the left-wing.

Also, I could swear that he misleadingly edits anything he does to the public to push a narrative of "SEE. THE GOYS ARE REALLY LIKE THIS". I can bet you that most people left during the period of time THROW THE JEW DOWN THE WELL was sung and they just used earlier footage as a substitute before it became anti-semetic.

I’ve seen him called out a lot for the stunt he pulled at the 3%er rally recently, a lot of people on the right at least saw it for what it was (staged).

Although, Dickens, Vonnegut, Joyce, Orwell, Bradbury, etc.. will all soon be rounded up and burned for being treasonous and poisonous to the mind once the mob runs out of Target stores and pawn shops to loot..

They already log in to good reads or whatever and give one stars and a scathing review to whichever classics which happen to mention niggers or the typical contemporaneous views on them.

I liked the 13th season but I can already see what's happening. The weird inclusion of the unfunny brown girl at the season premiere was very telling, plus the vehement defense of the decision by the creators. And the finale being entirely about Mac's gay pride was alright but a very mega fucking weird tone for Always Sunny. I've got a bad feeling about what's coming. The worst part is if you mention any of this the creators/fans are quick to jump down your throat saying "IT'S ALWAYS BEEN SATIRICAL" or some bullshit.

I just stopped watching when that happened, it’s not worth watching the eventual decline. I’d rather watch trailer park boys a third time. I guess the moral of it’s always sunny is the tired old “Christian homophobes are repressed fags”.

World of Warcraft has always been your standard sword and board fantasy series. For a long time, politics has been kept out of it, until it’s up coming expansion: Shadowlands. Now you can make black and Asian humans, not like this wasn’t always possible. There always has been dark skin options for human, but now they add black and Asian faces. He’ll even a weapons trainer from the old days was an Asian man until he was removed. Despite there now being black and Asian characters, there isn’t any indication there are human kingdoms in WoW that aren’t European inspired.

The races who do represent non-European cultures tend to be the bad guys, trolls for Caribbean/ Aztecs, and Tauren for generic Native American cultures. A race of furry pandas is what represents Asian culture. So you really can’t say Blizzard has always been socially sensitive. In fact one playable race, Zandalari Trolls, are racial supremist. There is really no reason for there to be distinctively black and Asian humans in this game, every piece of geography is spoken for which is now the new expansion is set in the afterlife.

Spergy fans have also deduced that a dragon is a trans woman, and now in Shadowlands there is a trans man.

I hate how the CW-verse/Arrowverse started off with Arrow/Flash being appropriately done well enough and then everything just kinda feels off after the introduction of Kid Flash and whatnot.(and I don't know if it's politics or bad writing.)

I dislike how they've fucked up the Black Canary. I will state that while Arrow's whole "Illuminati-lite" thing was a fun idea, they just kept running through a supporting cast and then we get a gay Mr. Terrific. . .and he's the "quirky" nerd. Like come on man, that's just a bad stereotype and it takes away from the actual canonical Mr. Terrific that's been around since the 90s, who's well known for y'know. . .

Getting fucked in the head over the loss of his wife to a car crash, and has a demeanor similar to an older and more stoic-ish version of Nightwing. You know, the 3rd most intelligent man on the planet. I get that they fucked up Arsenal and Wildcat due to behind the scenes bullshit with the actors getting poached, but come on man. If you wanted an LGBT hero for the supporting cast, there's other characters that could have easily taken that slot such as Wild Dog. (You know, the vigilante famous for being in some 80s miniseries and then being kinda in nothing else.) Hell, you could have tossed in an edit of many potential D-listers and done it well, but you decided to take a relatively established character and turn him into a walking stereotype? He even showed up with the fucking nerdy black guy afro early on.

Don't get me started on how they deal with Felicity. Look, Barbara Gordin not being an option is understandable. However, there's a limit to what Felicity can do and they just don't make it plausible, especially with the forced romance. Why not just let it be a semi-tragic romance with her getting gunned down permanently, so we can watch someone else take over? It'd have made sense given the ending to Oliver Queen's story.

Granted, I'll give the show that one thing. Letting him be the Spectre was a good move and gave the character some measure of fulfillment and establishes a legacy for the budding universe.

While I know they used him as Batman-lite, he does thematically fit the role as a first costumed defender/hero type as he's the only other DC hero big enough to do it that isn't Batman. And yes, I'm aware the show's had issues with DC/Warner Bros. editing who they can use and whatnot. That isn't my problem with it. It's just a sense of irritation with how they handled someone who's clearly going to evolve into a keystone of this new Arrowverse, and kinda just unintentionally made him a stereotype.

Gone wokes a bit of a misnomer, 40k always had a subtext of satire of hard right goverments and a direct statement on theocricies and imperialism being horrible. Even now the setting explicitly acknowlages these arnt good things. Naturally some fans miss the point and mistake the Imperium for conventional good guys. I once read a white supremicist showering 40k in praise for it's positive portrayal of facism which it's hard to know even where to begin in explaining why he was wrong.
Their's been some rumblings of woke stuff in the setting, more black characters (good thing-white bread galaxy was weird) more women (good thing, sisters of battle and esher rock) but it's been more complimentry to the setting than destrimental. Most of the miss steps are in the fiction and the setting seems to be keeping it''s batshit insane imagery. GW seems prudent enough to know the correct approach is to make more models rather than ret-con female spess marines into the fluff.

Weirdly they've actually leaned more into a least one of the most horrible right wing habits as the Emperors divinity has been implicitly confirmed wereas earlier work dropped massive hints that not only is he not a god but the Chaos' gods probably arnt either. I mean if you're going to suggest worshipping men as divine as legit how 'woke' can you really get?
Then again Marvel are writting their comics so this could all go south.
