I'm positive that Bob saw a mirror image of himself when Hillary dropped the mask and admitted she finds millions of Americans to simply be irredeemable and deplorable.
Of course to everyone else, this was a disaster moment and horrible politics, but to Bob it was an official validation of his own hatred.

I maintain the Hillary worship on Bob's part is largely performative, and what isn't is just because she hasn't whined about video games in a while and he's getting more blatant about indulging his inner Kissinger.
They’re all big fans of bombing entire populations, and even American citizens if they can get away with it.

Why live down the consoomer stereotype when you can hope for black Friday to become a "secular holy day". Only self serving dipshits like yourself, Robert, will think that Christmas is cancelled if you can't over spend in shitty sales because you're told to. How empty is your life that you can't get the point of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, let alone Charlie Brown Christmas, Robert?

Black Friday isn't even that great anymore. The deals aren't really deals and with the retail apocalypse it's getting harder and harder to find good stores.

The only good that comes out of it is watching all the idiots make asses of themselves during it. At this point if you are worshipping Black Friday as some big and sacred ordeal, you flat out are just a mindless consoomer.

Look man if the South wasn't worthy of being bombed due to their racist ignorance, then why do they need a Law Center centered around Southern Poverty of black people? You don't see a Northern Poverty Law Center.

Further proof that Bob is a complete retard who knows next to nothing about politics or history: He thinks Hillary only became disliked when she totally fucked up her healthcare mission in her husband’s administration. Even people who weren’t alive then know better than this. What’s Bob’s excuse?

Didn't people start to dislike her during Bill's first presidential campaign, when voters were promised a two-for-the-price-of-one deal with Billary(TM), America's first two-headed president and first woman president by proxy?

That went over OK, there were a large number of women candidates elected that year and I don't think anyone thought she was secretly in charge of the operation.

Hillary became radioactive because she was directly involved in many of Bill's scandals but had none of his charisma-off the top of my head she was involved in Hillarycare, Whitewater (very shady real estate deal) and politically motivated firings at the White House Travel Office (don't quote me here but I believe this ties into the Vince Foster suicide). She also made some incredibly tone deaf comments like alleging a "vast right wing conspiracy" (this is a verbatim quote, probably from whatever advisor recommended "basketful of deplorables").

It's the same problem Mitt Romney had, Hillary never said or did anything that horrible but her demeanor made it hard for people to relate to her.

We came, we shitposted, her political career died.

The last two aren't connected, just pointing it out.

Not just that but I am almost certain that I've seen him do the entire hands emoji thing before on Twitter. And not in an ironic way like he's doing here.

We can apply the same logic to humanity and space travel. Unless we discover a practical way to travel faster than light (questionable at best), interstellar travel will take generations. If we can't even maintain a stable society that doesn't trash the environment on earth, how will we ever manage the far less forgiving task of keeping a starship habitable and functioning for generations? And how will we maintain our technological base long enough to terraform a distant world once we've reached it?

We can't have a generation ship's population plummeting because people decided that they'd rather play around than have kids, or failing to pass on vital skills because everyone decided to major in fucking English, or killing each other because it was decided that people with a certain skin color were not accountable for anything that they do, or working the population so hard for the sake of personal greed that they don't have time to spend with their kids causing them to grow up to be useless wastrels. Until we solve our major social problems, space travel past Mars (and I'm being generous here) is a waste of time. But Bob doesn't even understand how society works here on earth, he thinks that "smrt peepull in charge, kill all teh stupids!!!1" is not merely a viable social program, but a self-evidently superior one.
This is genuinely thought provoking, but (just to play devils advocate here) what about muh cryogenics and muh automation?
Mormons, they will be the ones to survive. That or asians
I dunno man. Modern-day Japan really makes me doubt that.
I hope Bob Chipman kills himself
There's no fun in that, and there isn't much malice either. Life as Bob Chipman is far worse than death.

Bobby may fetishize mob violence against "fascists", but he has second thoughts when the mob come inevitably for rich "globalists":
Minor criticism, but that isn't how Mussolini died. He got jumped by commie partisans while trying to flee to either Switzerland or Germany.

You're replacing one problem (reliance on humans following very strict societal rules) with another (reliance on machines functioning perfectly). A ship containing mostly cryogenic pods would need a much smaller crew but it would still need personnel to maintain the cryogenics, keep the ship on track, etc.. Anything short of total automation would not solve the problem of needing a very regimented and engineered society, only now the number of people who can ignore social rules without ruining the whole project is much lower.

Replacing humans with automation also reduces the chances of errors but makes the consequences more severe. A human crew might be able to figure out what to do in a situation that the original engineers did not envision. A mostly or entirely automated ship couldn't-computers just carry out instructions and either won't react at all or won't react appropriately in those situations.

What a timely comment! Bobby is currently singing praise to machines because, unlike "innately corrupt" organisms like humans, machines can be taught to respect wimmin!

I've only ever seen trannies do it.

Cryogenics, like FTL travel, assumes facts not in evidence: that humans can have their vital processes suspended indefinitely and restarted without damage, despite being in no way evolved for it. Admittedly, it's not as "hard" a limit as the laws of physics, since we know of other organisms that can go into periods of suspended animation for long periods of time such as anthrax spores, but they're far smaller and simpler than we are.

Furthermore, any such technology would need extensive testing once invented, since if we don't know that our generation ships' technology will keep us alive for generations, all such ships might be simply extraordinarily complex and expensive premature tombs for our species' best and brightest, launched into the darkness of interstellar space like the world's most metal version of Viking funerals. If you want to make sure your cryogenics systems work for generations, you need to test them for that long; Bob is definitely not going to live long enough to see the conclusion of any such test even if one started tomorrow. Just as well; sending frozen Bob into the unknown universe is the first contact version of dialing a random number, then holding the phone up to your butt and farting.

Automation isn't in a much better state. Again, we would need to be sure that our systems would work for decades without maintenance (if the crew is cryogenically suspended), or we are allowing our crews' technical skills to decline without practice (if we use automation to make up for slackness on the societal engineering side). Also, you can't have a repairer machine to repair the repairer machine that repairs the repairer machine (etc., forever); you need a general-purpose system that can repair anything, including itself. And there's the problem of what the system will do in unforeseen situations, as mentioned above. Basically, when you try to automate an entire generation ship, you are essentially trying to replace a human society with a robot society, which might work better but is even more unknown at present than a stable advanced human society. And again, facts not in evidence: we don't know at this point if it's even possible for a form of intelligence to understand how it works well enough to duplicate it in a new medium. So we don't know if we can create sufficiently strong AI, or have it last long enough for interstellar travel, or maintain its loyalty once we set it loose.

I'm sure, seriously what is it with Bob's obsession with Hillary Clinton? It can't be just the 2016 election right?
Yes and no. The real explanation makes absolutely no sense but you have to remember that this is Bob.

Bob believes in an ever progressive form of evolution, not really understanding what it actually is. Blue collar workers who work with their hands are evolving backwards, while scientists and creatives who work with their brains have properly evolved. So any money going to the farmers is a sign that America is outdated, while taking away their subsidies and eliminating their jobs is progressing towards a Star Trek style utopia.

This is why, despite being pro space, he supports the Democrats and believes they will take the money from middle America and give it all to NASA. Three years after that happens, we'll have FTL space ships. And while Obama didn't do that, he genuinely believes Hillary would have because he doesn't live in the timeline where she won and didn't accomplish shit because she made no effort to curry favor with the flyover states, just the coast.

As I said, it makes no sense when you actually think about it, but that's Bob for you
