This is where the fun begins. Normal rules or common sense don't apply in the clown reality that is ResetEra. Considering how the implosion of NeoGAF happened, the lunatics think they now all own ResetEra. It really is like communism. Including all the power-tripping, backstabbing and hypocrisy that comes with it. With all this in mind it's really hard for Isamu Fukui to justify not paying his simp jannies.
At least give them a symbolic salary dumbass. Problem solved :story:

Games companies often include some of the forum staff as part of their employees, but not all.

But no, it's supposed to be a volunteer role. The issue on Resetera is every janny ends up like this

The only case in which I know of "forum staff" getting paid is if you're like a community manager on a dev's official forums.
