I wonder what's next?

Anyone else notice that Chris is more passable than either Brianna Wu or Ahuviya?

I don't know whether to raise a glass in his honor, cry, or start a betting pool over Ahuviya becoming overwhelmed with jealousy and trying to kick Chris's ass.

I think it's because Chris is going for clearly feminine while Ahuviya is going for the masculine-but-also-kinda-feminine-I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-supposed-to-be aesthetic.

Here's my two cents. Typically in the United States it takes a minimum of three or more months of therapy with a a qualified gender therapist to get a diagnosis of gender identity disorder. At which point you would get a referral to an endocrinologist who will prescribe hormone therapy. Chris is notoriously unwilling to go along with counseling and one of the big red flags gender therapists look out for is an autism diagnosis because so much of what we consider gender is socially conditioned.

So what we have here are three possible scenarios. Some trans women who have difficulty getting medical care in their areas buy hormones from an online pharmacy such as Alldaychemist.com and pay for out of pocket blood work. I sincerely hope Chris isn't doing this since unverified drugs from other countries are common, and one of the biggest side effects of hrt is a risk of stroke especially in overweight individuals or people who have a family history of heart problems. Plus Chris is an idiot so there's no way he would know how to take the correct doses.

Another option is Chris went to an informed consent clinic, which just make you sign some forms acknowledging that you understand the risks of hrt and they will prescribe you hormones. Even here though as a condition of receiving care they require you to go back to the clinic periodically to get your hormone levels checked.

The last option is Chris went on a q sands binge and one of of his moronic Facebook friends mistook it for the effects of hrt. For the sake of Chris's health I hope it's this one.

Fuark me. He's slowly becoming the girl of my nightmares.

But who knows? Maybe he'll drop a shit ton of weight (or at least try) in order to complement his new gender. But the odds are he'll try, fail, blame society and join the fat acceptance movement which is basically the fat girl equivalent of shit themselves and do nothing.

I'm hoping it's the latter. It would be great for him if he saw a professional, but I don't think that's the case. It would really suck to wake up one day and have a (not) shitpost saying Chris died of complications from seedy black market estrogen.

All my transgender friend had to say was that 1) no way did Chris get legit hormones 2) illegal legit hormones are more expensive than legal ones 3) non safe hormones legally boughten are 2X cheaper than legit safe ones. She also said "if, somehow, magically, this person got legit hormones in three months and is having them work THIS well already... I'll eat all my shoes".

I asked her about the process and she said it's different for everyone and the "see a doctor for 3+ years" isn't law as far as she knows but is just a doctors safety net timeframe. Doctors will decide when they think you're ready, there isn't a magic "I've seen you for ____ years now gimme my meds"

Well fuck, I promised I'd switch to female pronouns if Chris started taking hormones. She must be self-medicating though, there's no way Chris could go to a gender therapist and get hormones (which I believe takes like 3-5 years?) and keep quiet about it.

I'm holding out until he gets rid of the 5 o'clock shadow.
