The obvious answer is Phil hates the streak with a passion because it controls him and makes him a muppet. He relishes the days where he used to do none of this vest nonsense and still get paid, and wants to return to those simpler times where he didn't have to look like a retard for dollars. But as mentioned before, he can't deny the money aspect that he thoroughly enjoys and he's not certain how to give up that addiction.

Last night was hilarious watching him go from pretending to stall to full on panic stalling in a period of 10 minutes. The mask definitely slipped last night and today's prestream should be interesting as he will talk about last night through the veil of pignosis.

I'm pretty sure it's because he knows he has talked too much about how we hate the streak in order to motivate his paypigs to keep it going. If it ends because the retards don't come through for him in enough time, not only does it mean that he has to count that as a win for us (even though it really isn't), but it means that at least one element of his grift isn't working so well anymore. Phil doesn't handle such realizations very well, as we know.

What I don't understand, though, is why Khet being home means he has to end the stream. If that's just him going HINT-HINT, then fine, but if it's not, what's up with that? I mean, she knows what he does for money, and probably isn't paying any attention to whatever salty rants he might be going on while she's home. I don't see what he's concerned about. Does he bitch about her a lot or something? I haven't picked up on any mentions of that here...

Ah, yes... Normal people would think: “The veat streak is getting stale, let’s think of something awesome and interactive we could replace it with!

But this is Phil we’re talking about: The epitome of stasis and the human equivalent of a puddle of stale water.

Also, there’s no doubt that Phil inside his fucked up mind thinks of the streak as some sort of “fuck you”’ to haters. The longer it continues, the greater is his triumph.

The vest streak is the perfect grift for him.

It represents consistent income he can make near-future plans based on ("streak didn't end dood I would have hit it anyway!"), it was born "organically" and you guys wanted it therefore don't blame the guy, maintaining the streak fuels the DSP vs detractors dynamic that his wheelchair fanbase gobble up, and it's extremely low effort.

He might hate it and understand how dumb it is, but he also wants it to stick around for as long as possible.

Well, that's some additional info regarding Derich. All I know about Derich is that he has ADHD, got caught using his mothers credit card or something and is a running joke in Phils chat. Only recently I have heard about these weird playlists on Youtube as well.

I would however say, that I'm pretty much up on the lore in terms of Phil, as I was also actively monitoring these thread's daily and being a longtime lurker so to say.
I initially wanted to view the spectacle from afar and see how one saga after another develops, but today was really some sort of a tipping point.

I have also already read all of "TheyCallMeTevin"'s posts and found actual similarities between his typing and Phil's, such as WRITING LIKE THIS, or using "i"
(from the Discord leaks and whatnot), but as I was continuing with his posts, I started to doubt that it's Phil, I'm also not all too sure if its the pretentious, know it all
MoraMoria, could be also someone completely different, which I'm suspecting. I can't recall MoraMoria writing "i"'s instead of "I" in his posts.

Im aware of Cuckavera, also yet another nutcase that I can't solve. He seems to be aware of how he gets mistreated but he apparently simply "doesn't care"
It's even more pathetic to consider that he is in his 40's and playing Minecraft FOR Phil, who couldn't care less about him or the game pretty much

Many types of meat aren't recommended if you have gout but red meat is worse than alternatives and I'm sure Phil refuses to change his diet to the point that he's not eating meat at all.
