The only way she's correct is if 98% take a plea, which is misleading as hell. Even that claim I am in doubt of, as odds are more than 2% do go to trial.

EDIT: This site (which I admit I didn't make too much effort to vet) that even pre-trial, only 43% of black men are detained. Not even close to 98%. I literally cannot find anything backing up her claim.

Did you know that there are countries in Africa that "abolished" slavery only roughly ten years ago?? And the scare quotes are there because just cos it became codified in law doesn't mean anyone pays attention to it. And there are STILL countries like Mauritania that practice force feeding little girls to the point of sickness and risk of death just to make them look like an eat beast like Tess so they can be married

It's Mauritania that abolished it as in finally being pushed internatitonally to bother to even criminalise it, in 2007. It still hasn't stuck though. The whole of their society has been based on Arab masters, black slaves (often born into slavery generationally) for centuries.

Also add in all black male slaves were castrated and couldn't have children, so have no descendants to pay reparations to. White slaves were all freed in 1830 however, and good luck tracking their descendants down.

China - 1909 all forms tehnically abolished however it continued in various forms mainly within rich households until 1949

You know what else is a racist institution? Modeling. Sure, it’s more diverse now, but was built on racism, and still has issues today as far as lighter skin PoC models/models with European features still being preferred for many positions. This means that all models are bad because they’re benefitting from a system built on white supremacy that literally tells black women they aren’t as desirable as white women. Even if you’re a black or brown model, you are still part of the problem because you are participating in a racist institution. It’s not enough for there to be reform in modeling - the industry needs to be dismantled.

Tess really has no independent thought. She’s just repeating what wokesters on Twitter say. If Tess wants the police gone, the least she could do is learn about the intricacies of the police force. Like the military, chains of command exist in the US police force. On top of that, police have their own unions and work closely with courts, DA offices, mayors, and governors. Additionally, having a good police force can help make commerce easier. Businesses don’t want to operate in unsafe areas. Tess has no idea of what she’s talking about, and she really should just shut up because her ignorance is actually making the situation worse.

An interesting plot twist would be is if she were being paid off by Republicans to be controlled opposition. It’s a definite tinfoil, but it would be funny if it were true.
