I wonder how many of them have come here since Phil starting name-dropping us so much and read what we ACTUALLY have to say about the vest streak, as opposed to what he tells them.
In case one is reading, I'll spell it out for them: continuing the streak doesn't make us angry. Never did. We used to look forward to it ending, yes, but you want to know why? It's because we know that if it ever had, your favorite entertainer, DSP, the guy who constantly says he doesn't care if it ends, would rip into all of you for letting it die. YOU. Not us detractors. YOU. He would heap all the blame onto you, and display just how much of a liar he is when he pretended not to care. That's what we like, laughing at Phil showing his true colors after he doesn't get what he wants. Laughing at him treat you people like shit. Laughing at you put up with it for years.
Go ahead and keep the streak going, because you're not hurting us. You're hurting yourselves.

To be fair, today we got that tasty win even though the vest streak didn't end, with his "Guys you can't take the vest streak for granted anymore! Show up for my late streams and give me money because it's stressful dood and I can't do overtime!"

Based on this, there's a substantial chance then that OnlyIcedCoffee is the person who regularly tips under fake names to hit the goal at the last minute.During pre-stream just now, while DSP was "warning" people about how close the vest streak got to being over last night:
I honestly didn't think it was him because whales often 'pick their poison' for heavy contributions, and most who do through Twitch (subs/cheers) seem to then avoid tipping. But he is clearly comfortable with tipping, and this is phrased as though it was something that may have been anticipated/he has done in the past, and he is clearly a complete retard already, so this all fits. It would also explain why Phil is not surprised by the tips - he knows OnlyIcedCoffee is whaling, and based on their conversations about gifting subs and hitting sub goals, he and Phil have been speaking behind the scenes. He is also fine tipping under different names because he already has the recognition from the other whaling anyway.
I said a while back that the only way the goal isn't getting hit is if the secret whale is absent one night and Phil doesn't realize it - it happened last night because IceCoffee was there and then left, so Phil didn't ramp up the begging properly because he figured the safety net was there. This also explains why we went from casual stalling to panic stalling - he realized that something was wrong when the tip didn't come on cue.
This means, based on the subs, cheers and tips combined, Phil has an almost Emerald 7-tier whale currently active, and they have found (intentionally or no) a strategy that will allow him to massively whale without discouraging others (as Phil has blamed E7 for doing).

Man, this really illustrates the hold Phil has over his whales. What gets me is that he's able to command them like this in order to piss off people who aren't even getting pissed off. Not that I expect them to suddenly see the light if they ever visit this forum and see what we actually think. They're hopeless, they'll just find some other justification for feeding the pig, same as the pig looks for any reason to justify being a pig.
Still, it would be karmic as fuck if Phil's name-dropping lead to them going "Hey, wait a minute..."

What gets me is that what they're celebrating is giving Phil $200 every day. Imagine experiencing excitement over money leaving your possession, on a schedule, that is truthfully quite arbitrary, but the person receiving the money demands it out of a childish and pointless need to flex on people who are going to laugh no matter what.
