I think part of why I REALLY want to see an irl pic of Manny is because-- we all draw a bit of ourselves in our work, we're the human we're most familiar with. So I want to see if Manny looks even the slightest bit like her work, because I finally figured out why it's so ugly to me and it's because everything is drawn like a super buck-toothed, mammy-lipped, flattened-nosed racist stereotype of black people. They all look like that one 'SHIIIIIIIEEEEEETTTTTT' meme image.
I know that troll dolls themselves are meant to be a bit fugly looking on purpose but Manny took that and somehow manages to make it look like deliberately racist caricatures and I just... I want to know if Manny looks like something from the silent film era and it's ACTUALLY self'reference, or if Manny turns out to actually be white than a lily and this comes from someplace ugly in a different way.
