I get sick of millennials and zoomers bambying social security about like it's some groundbreaking, new concept when any half-retard could probably manage a private retirement account and get way better returns. If it's such a great program why in the 50's were they beating it into people's heads that it's simply not enough to retire on?
The salt on Twitter over the unemployment extension is extremely delicious. Lots of Trump haters adopting old timey, anti-welfare Republican talking points of the 90's, and UNEMPLOYED CAN GET AN ESSENTIAL JOB (As if someone with 10+ years experience in a given field is going to work retail, nevermind most of the country is shutdown) rhetoric, envy and fear from professional NEET's worrying about their SSI tugboats being torpedoed (God forbid American blue & white collar workers who always do their due diligence get a break and some gibs for once) to name a few things.
