If you listened to the conversation between him and Joshua on TDS, it played out exactly. First, Ralph makes it clear that he was insulted by the corn joke, then he calls Null a pedophile (something which Null sees as akin to putting a gun to someone's head and pulling the trigger), then he waits patiently to be hit back, Null doesn't respond at all, so he slurs out "weeeeeelll I'm glad we got that out of the way there hrrmrmlgrrrg..."

The interesting thing is he hasn't always been like this. He expressed contrition for getting jailed for punching a cop, he also seemed to back down after telling Sargon he was glad his kid died in a fit of rage. At one point on the Killstream he made a self-deprecating joking and Bibble said 'See, this is why I like you, Ethan'. However, since being released from jail, it seems like he's been getting steadily worse. And it's not just the booze talking - there was a period of relative sobriety after the Pillstream but his vindictive tendencies only became more pronounced.

Personally I can't imagine what it must be like to exist in this state of fury barely controlled with pills and booze. It can't possibly last for long before something snaps and he does something which will send back to prison for a much longer period. And the more he flails the more creatures from much darker places of the Internet than Kiwi Farms will circle him and take the odd bite to make the flailing worse.

I'm not sure but I don't think she got the green card. She never lived full time in the US. IIRC she had some job related to animal testing and wouldn't be able to get work doing what she went to university for in the US.

Pretty sure she ended it because Ralph is a felon who will never get a pardon, and never be allowed to leave the states.
