The Onyx Path racism thread is turning out wonderfully.

Everyone is basically agreeing that man Onyx path is looking pretty shitty here, when in comes Zeea with her "you can't all just believe him because he's brown! Only 'women' are supposed to get that!".



It's amazing the number of people willing to jump under a bus to defend Onyx Path, which has employed around 1000% more rapists and sexual predators then Flame Princess.

3 generations? Most people on that site are 30+ and many of them are in their 50’s and 60’s. They are the Boomers.

The rpg.net community is older than you might think. Obviously a voluntary poll isn't going to be comprehensive but check out the differences between these two. My one caveat is that the second poll is from the tabletop subforum not tangency so it probably skews older.

There's an influx of players when D&D puts out a new system. I'm guessing the people in their 40s in that poll started with... 2e?

They bent the knee because this gives them an excuse to ban anyone. If they claim a nonwhite reported it, they have to believe it's true.

I am sorely tempted to create an account and fake being a well educated black man. And then just do the digital equivalent of Godfrey Cambridge and see how much I can get away with.

For those of you wondering if the pepper is crazy: there was a tale Godfrey Cambridge would tell about being invited to a fancy dinner party with white 'limousine liberals'. During dinner he noticed the other guests furtively watching him as he was handed the mashed potatoes. Impishly, Cambridge took his serving by dipping his hands in the bowl clamshell fashion. The other guests just whispered, “Don’t say anything.”

Mr. Cambridge evidently had a streak of trollishness in him. I really must salute his memory if that story is true :)

The funny thing is, these random faggots have zero clue about actual privilege working their tech support jobs before going to be an Internet janny. I grew up around money, not like 1% money, but still plenty, and whenever I was in an absurdly expensive place and some black dude rolled in in a $4000 suit with his wife wearing half a jewelry store's worth of gold, the rich white people didn't start whispering, "Oh my goodness gracious, who let the neeeeeeeeegroes in here?!" There'd be handshakes and back-slaps all around, everyone was instantly everyone else's best friend. Because that's the real club to get into, with the real power and privilege. You think race mattered one bit? I guarantee you that the rich black people didn't give one shit about a bunch of ghetto rats, any more than the rich white people cared about trailer trash. Wealth is the true dividing line between people, these poor idiots squabbling around about their identity politics could all drop dead tonight and the wealthy wouldn't even notice.
