Most individuals are detained and processed, hence they need to spend time in "cages". As the adults the children are with are being detained, the minors are transferred into a residential type detention facility. Most of these facilities for minors are better than the conditions they would have faced if the successfully made it across.

Why not release the minors with the adults they are with? Well, we need to make sure that some of the kids don't make it into the collection of the Jeffrey Esptein gang, which has been cited as a major problem on our Southern Border.

DNC is in Milwaukee, and we've got roads blocked off for a handful or less of "speakers." It's all going to be remote. Have no idea of what's actually happening at the convention center, and don't really care - I don't think there's going to be any action, per se.

This is off-topic I suppose, but to expand on that a little as an employee, I've had maybe two jobs that I can recall where I worked with black people and I have three decades in various offices under my belt. Many office jobs are like that, from my experience. Even when I worked in larger firms, it was very white. The woke crowd may have made some inroads but I haven't seen it yet. Then again, not many black people seem suited to work in offices and are not attracted to being subservient to some whitey in a suit. They like security guard jobs and gigs at City Hall/DMV/other government jobs lol. Which reminds me, when I worked as a temp at City Hall back in the 90's, the black women who worked there literally did their nails and hair at their desks. I came in one day and saw an application on my chair - the few white workers were really trying to get me on board but I balked because at that time I had a strong work ethic and couldn't handle the atmosphere.
