Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

That shit goes on for two and a half fucking hours. Is that normal for a live stream, and I don’t just mean by lowtax? Who the fuck has time to sit and watch that?
Charismatic streamers can make it work cause usually people will not just watch for the game but also to just interact with the streamer and hear him/her crack jokes and give thoughts on stuff happening in the game. It's a similar vibe you'd get from hanging out with a friend on the couch and you could also just put streams on as background noise while doing something else.

Of course, not everyone can pull it off.

This. You can either be excellent (like, world class) at a game, or you can be pretty good and have charisma. Having none of these, your only other option is tits. Lowtax is sadly the titty streamer, but not the kind anyone would want to watch.

Lowtax seemed bored and annoyed during the entire stream. Like he would have rather been doing anything else.

Also in the 20 seconds I could stand to watch, he was talking about opioids and how he takes tramadol, the lamest of all the synthetics, and he’s allergic to them.

That's druggie bullshit. If you're actually allergic to a drug, the response is dramatic and possibly even fatal. If you were actually allergic to it, you wouldn't be able to take it. Richard is just a liar, as all junkies are. The fact he even still says that stupid shit, which nobody but a moron would believe, just shows how utterly jellied the remnants of his brains are.

For the record, I completely on board with everyone who is saying that this is typical addict cope, and denial in the form of "I can't be addicted opioids, I'm allergic" *chews a months supply of oxy*

But, playing devils avocado, I think this is a case of Rich getting facts jumbled in his wacky zany brain; like the likely result of his "secret service" where it was just general federal contact to see if he was an extremist threat or not, but he turned "government agent in a suit = secret service". He may have had an interaction with one of his opioid prescriptions, and his brain turned the doctor's explanation "Oh that rash is a side effect of Genibutial, let's get you on something else" into "I am allergic to an entire class of drug".

Especially when no one he'd encounter in real life would care enough to step to him about this weak ass story, not knowing any better and not feeling like engaging in person. So Rich learns "You look like my brother when he was addicted to oxy" "I can't be, I'm allergic to opioids" "oh. Well, you still look like shit. Hope you feel better." is a conversation flow that gets him sympathy allows him to continue to avoid taking responsibility for his shitty life choices for a little longer, so he clings to it.

Pretty sure nobody who is in allegedly excruciating pain from having a collapsing spine and neck would be on just Tramadol. Tramadol is some weak shit and it's usually prescribed for some 88 year old grandma and her arthritis that can't handle stronger stuff. Lowtax is probably also conveniently using the fact that opioids tend to make people itch a lot because it messes with your histamine receptors to say that he's TOTALLY allergic and can BARELY take them. LowT should be careful mixing his box wine addiction and Tramadol because Tramadol is one of the few/only opioids that lower the seizure threshold.

They tried to put me on Tramadol when I hurt my back and it did nothing at all. Should be embarrassed to call that shit a painkiller.

Lowtax knows this, that's why he thinks his claim as "only taking tramadol" proves he's totally not a pill addict. Pill addicts wouldn't even bother getting a script for tramadol filled.

I'm sure Lowtax has tons of it laying around because it's always what doctors try to give to addicts at first as a litmus test and/or to avoid prescribing real opiates if possible. If the patient gets upset and say it doesn't work but those pink pills with "20" on the back made the pain go away or that stuff "starts with a D" spiel comes out they know they got a pill seeker. I think all doctor shoppers/ pillheads have probably a 20 year supply of tramadol scripts laying around due to the initial drug seeking dance they have to do so many times with so many doctors.

Yeah, I had to do that dance with mine in order to get something that actually let me sleep at night. And then every few months you have to prove you're not addicted, sucking cocks in alley ways for more.

I don't believe for a second that tramadol is all he's taking.

Depends how lazy they are. They might be worth having around for when they're out and jonesing. Also it might be okay for filling out a dose of something better if you have just a little.

So you just show the Doc your OnlyFans so they can see you were sucking alleyway cock before you hurt your back?

Nah I offer to suck their dicks behind the office for scrips. If they knew I had an OnlyFans, I wouldn't be able to get workmans comp to pay for my drugs, you amateur.

Charismatic streamers

I've never watched a full PDP video but my kids do and I've walked past a number of times, thought he was great on southpark, pewdiepie, the pretty-boy fucking swede is about the most alpha dude rn in the normiesphere, cmv.

E: I got in a bike-wreck once, they gave me tramadol, it did nothing except make me (a slightly cat-allergic person) feel like I'd been rubbing my face in cat bellies all day. Naproxen or whatever it's big name is, which I somehow never really tried before fixed me up in like a day or 2.

Actual allergies to opioids are very, very rare. I have a genuine allergic reaction to opioids, which I found out in my twenties when I was prescribed some after a mountain-bike accident. My entire face and throat blew up to basketball proportions and I was rushed to the hospital barely able to breathe. There's a gigantic red flag in my medical chart for it. When I had surgery a few years ago, there were cards and flags over all the surgical notes and even hanging on my gurney alerting not to give me any opioids under any circumstances. A special anesthetist was called in to do the anesthesia. LowT has posted pics from the hospital and talked about his surgeries and has never shown or mentioned any of that. I agree with you, Lowtax is a junkie liar who is as full of shit about this as about everything else.

He's probably just pissmad that he doesn't have an instantly high viewer count any more, and with how he's doing nothing effective (or even slightly constructive) to turn that around, it's probably an ever-present cognitive dissonance for him that his subconscious knows that the sun's setting on the last tatters of his d-list celebrity status.

just for the record, i have been diagnosed with "degenerative disc syndrome" or whatever and i have been addicted to opioids and i have lived with pain and it kind of makes me laugh to hear lowtax act like its some unique situation that only he can understand. like he has lou gehrig's disease and HE is lou gehrig.

anywhos i could go on and on explaining it to anyone who cares, but i will tell you what my spine doctor/ drug pusher told me when i asked if there was something serious about the diagnosis: "everybody has degenerative disc syndrome, they just wear out sooner for some people. you will be chasing that "perfect" feeling for the rest of your life and you will never find it. deal with it" *over-prescribes cancer-grade morphine to the sweaty quivering drug-addict before him*

*four years clean and sober (except for weed) (and painkillers)

Tramadol is a funny drug that I hesitate to call an opioid, and even lamer than tapentadol or dextropropoxyphene, but he may think he is allergic in that trying to get an equivalent effect (you can find dose equivalence charts online, none very accurate) to a decent dose of an actual fairly selective full agonist will likely produce serotonin syndrome and other unpleasantness long before that happens. Indeed even some of the good drugs like oxycodone at the higher doses (500mg IV as a ballpark) have significant and unpleasant non opioid receptor mediated effects. Of course everyone says they're allergic to codeine and tramadol, though.

Edit: morphine does cause a bit of histamine release that can be unpleasant if you are not used to it, though addicts often come to like the barbed wire in the veins feeling. But if you transfer to it from a less histaminergic opioid and have a lot of tolerance, you can genuinely have a very scary experience not unlike anaphylaxis.
